Альбом, который продолжает линию предыдущего. Стиль теперь можно определить как рок-н-ролл в смеси со старым творчеством. Холод, мрак и безнадежность, а также нагнетаемые негативные и суицидальные настроения по прежнему довлеют, однако теперь полотно разноображено взрывными гитарами, пилящими рок-соло, фразами в стиле Камон!, вставками женского голоса. Особо отмечу The Eerie Cold и вставку из Американского Психопата в конце заключительного трэка.

Да ну? По-моему, совершенно очевидно, что это уже несколько иной Shining, не ДСБМ, а что-то ближе к прог-блэку. Т.е. к тому Шайнинг, который будет на альбомах 2007 - 2012, аж до возвращения к ДСБМ стилистике на альбоме 2015 года.

Иной, согласен, но корни этой инаковости начались ещё на тройке. Каждый альбом у Никласа и ко планомерно развивает идеи предыдущего при сохранении в основе идей, настроений и атмосфер, а также вокальных приёмов, заложенных на дебюте.

А крайний альбом не особо и депрессив-бээмен, он лежит в плоскости позднего периода группы.
