Менеджмент группы SAINT VITUS подтвердил, что 25 ноября в возрасте 58 лет скончался барабанщик группы, Armando Acosta. Он был оригинальным участником группы и играл там с 1979 года под прозвищем TYRANT. В 2009 году его заменил Henry Vasquez.

Colosseum third and last album is tribute to Juhani Palomäki (R.I.P), singer/guitarist on the album, who deceased right after the recording process. Album will be released hopefully still during the December, at latest beginning of January.

Популярные некогда португальские death-doom-metal'исты HEAVENWOOD заключили контракт на выпуск своего четвёртого альбома "Abyss Masterpiece" с лэйблом Listenable. Совершенно новую песню греческих богов тяжелого металла SEPTIC FLESH с предстоящего полнометражного альбома можно будет услышать уже в эту пятницу 17 декабря 2010 года. Она называется "The Vampire From Nazareth" и будет доступна всему миру в виде download релиза. Также эта песня вошла на диск-приложение к новому номеру французского издания журнала Hard Rock. Полный альбом группы пока не имеет окончательного названия, но уже известно, что он выйдет на лейбле Season of Mist 18 апреля 2011 года в нескольких изданиях.


Напомним, что альбом записывался в нескольких студиях, в Афинах, Праге и Швеции с продюсером Peter Tagtgren, при участии пражского Filmharmonic Orchestra. В процессе записи участвовало 130 музыкантов, использовались различные нетрадиционные и этнические инструменты, клавесин, детское сопрано. Любыми путями музыканты старались достичь эффекта звуковой дорожки к фильму ужасов. Ну а гитарный звук по-прежнему разрушительный и уничтожающий.

SLUMBER распались на две новые группы:

Первая: ATOMA. Альбом "Skylight" уже записан и отмастерен. Релиз состоится осенью(?) 2011 года. Первоначально это был альбом группы SLUMBER "Resonance".

Мрачный, мистический материал авторы готовят в тесном взаимодействии и надеются, что альбом будет хорошо принят любителями funeral doom'а. Микширование и сведение производит Juan Escobar, к разработке художественного оформления приложит свои талантливые руки Geert van Mook. Интернациональный проект, связывающий три континента, выйдет в свет весной этого года.
