"Under Saturn Retrograde" update!!

"Hi folks-
This morning I went to Elfo Studio and did some improvements on the final mix of the new album "Under Saturn Retrograde". Now it's finally ready and it's going to be sent to Finnvox Studios (Finland) for the mastering process, to be done most probably by mr. Mika Jussila!
Btw, I can already say this album went beyond all our expectations. The sound is the best we've ever had and the songs are the best I ever wrote. It took 4 years to release a brand-new album but you can be sure it was worth the wait! I can guarantee that this new opus will completely sweep away all the current Forgotten Tomb wannabes and pseudo-suicidal/depressed emo-like kids/bands!! It sounds so fucking powerful, emotionally violent and nihilistic that it makes me want to go outside and kill random people. Evil never sounded so fucking catchy and heavy!! This album will fuck up everyone, both lovers and haters. Naysayers will have to kiss my wop ass after this fucking album is released. Don't need to listen to other albums, this is gonna be the best release of 2011. And if you don't believe that, we're ready to take the challenge..."

"Under Saturn Retrograde" will be released sometime within the first 3 months of 2011 on Agonia Records. Graphix are currently being completed. Tracklist and final release-date will be announced in January, so stay tuned!

After the widely praised and very successful previous album "Das Marchen vom Schnee", Brocken Moon didn't try to repeat
themselves or outdo the previous album but went more back-to-the-roots and created a completely different listening experience.
The music tends more towards primitive, ritualistic, depressive Black Metal, in order to provide a proper vehicle for the lyrics,
which basically deal with negative emotions such as fear, despair, sadness and depressive states of mind in general. That is also
the reason for the title "Hoffnungslos" which translates into "Hopeless". Thus the fairytale approach of their previous album
made way for grim, cold hopelessness and sick, creeping despair rooted somewhere in the mid 90s Black Metal underground.

The CD will be available as standard edition in jewel case and as special edition in digipack, limited to 999 copies.

Не вижу логики. Я, например, слушаю CD на CD-плеере в стерео системе, поэтому покупаю CD прежде всего ради самого CD и художественного оформления. А лимитированные издания чаще всего просто вынужден брать из-за бонус треков. Крайне редко в боксах бывают действительно интересные вещи в виде дополнительного, расширенного или увеличенного в размерах художественного оформления (артбуки, дигибуки), фотографий, постеров, нашивок, кулонов. Шприцы же и колючие проволоки, никак не относящиеся к музыке, как в боксе Lifelover новостью выше, мне и большинству даром не нужны.

На майспейсе Lifelover cтали доступны для прослушки два трека из нового альбома - #3 Expandera и # 7 Totus Anctus.Первый показался мне слегка сопливым вариантом хита Mental Central Dialog, зато второй очень интересный.Доволно аггресивный рифф в стиле Dekadens сменяется меланхоличным перебором струн.Вокал на втором треке доволно разнообразен, Ким теперь с чистого пения срывается на гроул.На фэйсбуке группа сказала, что сримы никуда не делись и присутсвуют на других треках.Очень неплохое начало года, скажу я вам.
