Что в общем и следовало ожидать - альбом неплох, но ничего примечательного - ибо без Тима Стратовариус уже не тот - нет той атмосферы, пафоса да и вообще просто цепляющих мелодий. Вобщем под пивко пойдет - но разочарованием не стало - после Поляриса уже более спокойно и равнодушно воспринимаю их творчество и не жду чего-то прямо безумно крутого.

Love the cover artwork too, Strato always seems to deliver in that department. Nice reference to the "Polaris" artwork with that metallic star thing!

Полярис был альбомом не выдающимся, но чертовски приятным для фонового прослушивания (чем не могли похвастаться многие релизы с Толкки, имхо). Если Элизиум окажется таким же, то останусь доволен.

Проходная скучная тягомотина. Каждый новый альбом отвечает мне на возникающий вопрос: а почему, собственно, я так плохо знаком с этой группой, хотя имя её на слуху? А вот именно поэтому: вроде, всё есть, но абсолютно не трогает. Музыка хоть и воздушная, но при этом пустая. Нет какой-то искры и драйва во всём этом. После прослушивания не возникает абсолютно никакого желания когда-либо это увидеть в плеере ещё раз, также ничего не запоминается, не оседает на подкорке. Но в целом я прекрасно понимаю, что не хватает товарищам (для того, чтобы понравиться конкретно мне) совсем немного - буквально какого-то одного элемента. К сожалению, я всё больше и больше обнаруживаю подобных групп, у которых и с техникой всё в порядке, и с мелодиями, и с записью, а не цепляет и всё. Не исключаю, к слову, что не хватает жесткости и мяса, только в хорошем смысле. Чуточку бы всё это тяжелее сделать, не потеряв в той самой воздушности, тогда, не исключено, мелодии бы заиграли новыми красками, и сама музыка стала выглядеть наполненней и насыщенней.

Впрочем, в любом случае, для ознакомления этот релиз в рекомендациях не нуждается. Возможно, кому-то понравится, однако шедевром это всё равно назвать не удастся ни при каких обстоятельствах, жаль.
