Обложка очень нравится, как-будто про меня в мои 15 лет (IMG:style_emoticons/default/crazy.gif) .... Музыка интересная, но 'Eternal Devastation' лучше. Шмиер свалил посреди записи, записав лишь половину трэков. Чето в этом ансамбле уже не ладилось...

Несмотря на, казалось бы, общие сходные черты с двумя предыдущими релизами команды, этот диск переходный — и по дате выхода и по музыке — всё то же, что и на предыдущих, но в то же время по другому — более туманно, меланхолично, в чём то отрешённо — в общем, ВЕЛИКОЛЕПНО. Такой своеобразный задымлённый трэш. Отменная пластинка, и как в случае с последними двумя полноформатами, крайне нетривиальная.

Как сейчас помню, этот альбом в год выхода тру металхеды, к коим в то время причислял себя и я, неистово осудили. Во-первых, Destruction, на наш тот архаичный взгляд, явно сбавили обороты в "брутальности", во-вторых, мы не могли простить, что после ухода Шмера группа тотчас не развалилась, но продолжила свое существование с новым вокалистом (настолько в то время были сильны взаимосвязи между конкретной личностью и собственно музыкой). Мы так наивно по детски, по советски переживали за Шмера, за старый тру Destruction, что пропустили просто охеренительный альбомище. На мой сегодняшний взгляд - это вообще чуть ли не самый лучший альбом группы.

Классическим его бы не назвал, так как Cracked Brain выбивается из всего, что до этого было сделано группой на предыдущих альбомах, что никак не умаляет его шикарности. Альбом восхитительный. Это скорее была попытка какого то развития, оставаясь в рамках треш метала.
