раннинг как раннинг, но чуть похуже блазон стоун. может быть здесь что-то личное. но мне он видится чуть менее иконообразным, чем поименованный. но здесь все на месте - вокал, гитары - брэнд сохранен. для меня он в масть, потому что это Раннинг.

Нифига! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/23.gif) Pile Of Skulls более чётче прописан, более искромётен и более пружинист, когда Blazon Stone несколько размазан и слащав. Но только чуточку. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/crazy.gif) В целом оба альбома хороши, но всё же Гора Черепов, в плане реализации, на полголовы выше.
Вообще Рольф молодца. Более 10 лет поставлять материал, писаный фактически в одиночку, и за каждым разом держать планку собой же поднятую, это не каждый могЁт.

да расставляйте, куда хотите. я свое мнение не поменяю.
среди раннингов Блазон для меня самый иконообразный, я его воспринимаю как китчевый /в положительном смысле/ образчик РВ. возможно он "засахаренный", истукан пишет "слащав". но это входит в мое определение китчевости.

Мой неочевидный любимец, hard winner, как говорится. Даже в быстрых номерах тут есть какое-то неуловимое изменение в мелодических построениях — то ли куплеты более распевны, то ли какие-то нарочитые замедления, сложно сказать, но ни Whirlwind, ни Sinister Eyes при всех своих скоростях не потягаются с первыми номерами предыдущих пластинок, а откровенный среднетемп типа Black Wings of Death только усиливает это ощущение. Впрочем, к заводной и моторной титулке это не относится, она прекрасна и канонична, как и Lead or Gold, например. Очередной экологический гимн White Buffalo прекрасен. Ну, и эпик просто шикарнейший. Я, признаться, не очень любил в детстве книгу "Остров сокровищ", как-то тяжело она читалась (зато мультик, понятно какой, шедеврален), но под эту песню можно заново и с удовольствием снова пережить знакомый сюжет.

Замечательный и в чём-то необычный альбом.

С какого-то момента RW стали для меня таким хэви-металлическим аналогом группы AC/DC: выдержанный стиль, продолжающаяся тематика, примерно одинаковое высокое качество работ на протяжении достаточно большого промежутка времени, собственное, яркое и узнаваемое, звучание и т.д. и т.п. Так что сильно много распаляться по поводу данного релиза не вижу смысла, он просто-напросто крут. Разве что отмечу несколько более ясное звучание (по сравнению с предшественником). Как всегда, есть чем восхититься: качающий хит Lead or Gold, просто сметающие соло в заглавном трэке и White Buffalo, нескучный эпик про Джима Хокинса и пиастры. Слушать - одно удовольствие!
