Решил создать эту тему, потому что указанные в заглавии музкальные направления - Dark Ambient, Industrial, Darkfolk достаточно часто пересекаются с металлом (конечно же с Black Metal в первую очередь). Это происходит и в виде сайд-проектов участников Блэк Металлических проектов (Abruptum, например, да и множество других), и в виде выпуска неформатных неметаллических альбомов (Ulver, Drudkh, October Falls) и в виде сильных стилистических влияний на альбомах которые в целом металлические (тот же Julien Louvet очень бодро нарезает гарный дарк фолк в рамках своего The Austrasian Goat'а).
На уровне слушателей - эти стили так же достаточно часто котируются именно теми кто в основном слушает металл.
Ну и наконец причина чисто организационного характера - в теме уже существующей в разделе Unformat D: сваливают новости невероятные друг от друга, Улвер соседствует с систем оф э давн, а Manes рядом с линкин парк, что не круто, да и сама тема имеет расплывчатый заголовок "новости стиля" оттого совершенно теряется на фоне прочих.

Ну и непосредственно новости:

Английский лейбл Cold Spring в течение предыдущих месяцев перевыпустил все основные альбомы культого шведского Black Ambient проекта MZ.412, до этого выходившие в перидо с середины 90-х до середины 00-х на Cold Meat Industry:

The second full-length studio album in the group's twenty-year history, Born Again signals startling developments and a radical maturation. Old vines have been cut back and carefully tended in order to bear strange new fruit. Over the course of the twelve tracks that comprise Born Again, Blood Axis explores an epic yet human universe in which gods are summoned, kingdoms rise, riddles are unlocked, love is lost, and worlds crumble. This is psychedelia in the literal sense: a "mind-manifesting" journey through the collective psyche of its creators.
Born Again weaves a web of potent pleasures. Whereas the earliest Blood Axis music was marked by keyboards and samples, Blood Axis in 2010 is stripped down to an essential core of natural instrumentation, but with force and bombast fully intact. The sonic ingredients on Born Again include electric and acoustic strings (guitar, violin, bass, bouzouki, banjo), melodeon, piano, highland bagpipes and Galician gaita, marching percussion, the mysterious Annabel-a-tron, and Bobby BeauSoleil's growling, prison-vintage guitar eruptions circa 1976. Underpinning the album and propelling much of the music is the traditional Irish drum the bodhrán, recorded here with unprecedented power. Moynihan's ominous voice is well matched by Annabel Lee's elfin intonations, just as her violin finds a perfect counterpoint in Robert Ferbrache's protean guitar parts. A selective cabal of guest musicians from Europe and the USA add tasteful embellishments to these deceptively simple arrangements. Shot through by myth and romance, the expressive lyrics on Born Again have their roots in ancient and modern poetry, archaic invocations, and tragic laments. Alongside modern English and German, songs are sung in medieval 10th-century Old English and 13th-century Middle High German. The end result is both unclassifiable and unforgettable: neither folk nor rock, traditional nor avant-garde, modern nor archaic. It is simply Blood Axis.
Born Again was recorded over a span of many years in remote locations ranging from rural Vermont to the catacombs of Absinthe Studios in Denver, Colorado. Engineered and produced by founding Blood Axis member Ferbrache, the dense sonic tapestry of Born Again is simultaneously raw and refined, synergistically more than the sum of its primal parts. 1). Автор NORTHAUNT готовит материал для сборника на Cyclic Law. Помимо этого, сейчас создается оформление для переиздания давно распроданного альбома "Barren Land".

2). Несколько треков с нового альбома TERVAHAAT "Kalmonsaie" доступны для ознакомления: Anima Arctica Radio. Релиз запланирован на осень.

3). 6 августа на Peaceville выйдет переиздание альбома NEPTUNE TOWERS "Transmissions From Empire Algol" c 4 треками из материалов к так и не изданному 3-му альбому.

This project’s sole member is Nattramn, whose ‘Death—Pierce Me’ album under the project name Silencer stand as defining work in the suicidal black metal movement. Diagnose: Lebensgefahr is significantly different from either, though, and should not be considered a black metal album as such. For the first time this album blew up the world in 2007 and now it's still one of the most interesting works on current scene.
Transformalin is a bleak voyage through related genres, particularly dark ambient, power electronics, martial and noise-influenced industrial, with black metal serving as the filter that taints and completes them. Consequently, ‘Transformalin’ is a jarring experience that can be harshly rhythmic at one moment and the next dive into unmetered, dragging ambience, while still others draw on martial cadences and horn reveries that echo in the background. Though mostly instrumental, he does provide ‘narration’ from time to time with primarily clean vocals that range from manically impassioned to psalm-tone catatonia.
Last years it became extremely rare album and now, 5 years later, this black pearl is available again!

Облога 2 альбома Syven (проект Аслака Толонена ex-Nest) 'Corpus Christi'

Дата выхода пока точно не определена, но уже известно что он будет выпущен в следующих форматах:
1) Дигипак содержащий один 35-минутный трек + видео равное по длительности этому треку.
2) Digital релиз.
3) Специальная USB Flash Drive версия. Содержащая музыку и видео в наилучшем качестве (at least 96kHz / 24 bit for the audio, and HD 1080p for the video) + весь артворк в хайрезе + спец. ништяки с которыми еще до конца не определились.

Почему два? Насчитал 6 понлноформатников, не считая сплитов и ЕР. Ну и последний альбом "Birdking" был очень даже на уровне. А уж про 1992 - Gilded by the Sun и 1996 - Rûna и говорить не приходится.
