So dear people, finally! :D
The news we have been waiting to share with you:

On the 24th of February we enter one of the best studios on the planet, Fascination Street Studios in Sweden, to begin album recordings.
For this upcoming album we will be working with the amazing producer Jens Bogren (who has worked on albums by Opeth, Paradise Lost, Katatonia, Daylight Dies, Swallow the Sun, Draconian, Soilwork etc etc) as well as FS recording engineer Johan Цrnborg.

This first leg of the studio recordings will be recording drums, played by the one and only Kai Hahto (Swallow the Sun, Wintersun). In March it will be time for the next step, which is guitars, but we will reveal more about that soon.

More details about the album, musicians and the recording process will be posted along the way, as the ship sails on-Towards the Black Ocean.

MY DYING BRIDE вернулись в студию чтобы закончить работу над новым ЕР, предварительно имеющим название "The Manuscript". "Мы работаем над четырьмя песнями, однако в ЕР войдет только три. Обложку для диска на этот раз создаст Aaron. Дата выхода ЕР будет объявлена позднее". Ранее в интервью Metal Forces Aaron рассказал о материале нового ЕР: "Этот диск будет очень похож на 'A Map Of All Our Failures', потому что они были созданы и записаны в одно и то же время, за исключением только одной песни. Вот она точно выделяется… [смеётся] Там будет полноценный эпический дэт металл; ну, знаете, размахивающий топором, воинственный мужик в доспехах, средневековье, всё в таком духе. Я представляю, что действие этой песни происходит в заснеженных горах. Мы прикрутили там много звуковых эффектов, чтобы достоверно проиллюстрировать подобное безумство. Эта песня даже имеет название на шведском языке, которое, поскольку мой шведский не идеален, я сейчас произносить не буду. [смеётся] Дайте мне шанс выучить его наизусть."

Я демку в свое время почти случайно выцепил за вменяемый прайс, а на эту чет рука не поднималась. Как чувствовал.
Вообще вдвойне приятнее ибо на переиздание Терготона в обозримом будущем я даже не рассчитывал.

Новый альбом «Pact with the Doomed» one-man проекта Sculptor (Death Doom Metal) выйдет 15 февраля 2013 года на лейбле Darknagar Records. Вопреки первоначальному анонсу, лейбл был вынужден перенести дату релиза по техническим причинам. Альбом будет доступен в формате 6-панельного Digipak с 8-страничным буклетом.

Не очень свежая новость, но кто-то может ещё не знает.
Несколько лет назад замутили чуваки из Нового Орлеана проект Suicide War. Состав: Frey Thieler(Valume Nob, ex-Black Label Society) - гитара, Sammy Molina(Valume Nob) - бас-гитара, Craig Nunenmacher(ex-Black Label Society, ex-Jones's Lounge, ex-Crowbar, ex-Lillian Axe) - барабаны, Ben Falgoust(Goatwhore, Soilent Green) и Kirk Windstein(Crowbar, Down, Kingdom Of Sorrow) - вокал(планировалось что Кирк ещё и на концертах на басу будет лабать). Eye of Solitude выпустили благотворительный EP "The Deceit". Послушать/купить. Все деньги с продаж идут в фонд помощи румынским вурдалакам слепым и слабовидящим. Особенно стоит обратить на него внимание пользователю vosmidesijatye:

"We're entering Studio Bloch in Tórshavn on the 18th of March to start recording our upcoming full length album. The album will be released on Tutl this fall and will be available throughout Europe(via TUTL's international distribution set-up, Believe Digital & Cargo).

Some of you might be wondering why we're releasing on Tutl and not Nuclear Blast. The answer is simple. We weren't able to find common grounds with Nuclear Blast. This also means that we won't be playing at Wacken 2013, since that show was linked to the record deal as part of the prize for winning Wacken Metal Battle 2012.

We're looking forward to working with Tutl again, and the new album and international release tour are in the works for this fall and winter. There are also a few cool festival shows coming up. We're entering an exciting new chapter in our career, so stay posted !"
