Большие любители раннего Ensiferum эти Frosttide. Ну и Wintersun до кучи, но музыка больше смахивает именно на Ensiferum. Правда, любви этой на данный момент явно недостаточно, чтобы сотворить самостоятельный и складный альбом: много хаоса в мелодиях, отсутствие видения композиций в общем, недостаток целостности. Послушать, как молодёжь умеет вдохновенно шпарить по мотивам кумиров, было, пожалуй, небезынтересно. Если же хочется чего-то более долгоиграющего в этом ключе, лучше поставить, например, Brymir.

Многократное прослушивание дало свои плоды, альбом раскрылся. Пусть есть схожести с Энсиферум, но свое лицо у ребят все же есть, особенно понравился эмоциональный и не такой сухой вокал. И мелодии клевые проскакивают, осталось собрать все воедино в одно целое на следующем альбоме. Надеюсь, у нас появляется новая отличная группа в жанре. Поставлю баллов 7/10.

Ok. I have finally got around to listening to this full album from when it leaked. I can say I am pleased with the results. The sound I hear most, though, is Ensiferum circa 2007-2009 and some elements of Wintersun-esque riffing and atmosphere. So many moments within have that Victory Songs and From Afar feel to them which isn't a bad thing, it's just been done before by so many bands. I don't mind bands cloning a sound, though, because I love this sound.

Verdict: 8.5/10

У него не скрим, а какой-то перенапряжённый грязный по звуку ор. Ужасно не люблю такой скрим. Например, товарищ из Cipher System нынешний бесит просто. Мне наоборот импонирует чистый тон. Типа, да-да, Яри, Петри и т.д.
