I listened to all versions of the demo I could find to download today (all different bitrates)

They all sound identical (identical one to other and identical as songs on the compilation);
It makes complete sense because:
QUOTE
Tracks 1 - 4 are the second demo, tracks 5 - 8 the first one. The CD indexes the demos in the right order.

So the versions are the same here on this demo and on the compilation

Or whoever originally created this demo release as mp3, just took the tracks from the compilation.

And metal archives are right this time.

After downloading and checking several different folders of this second demo, I noticed most people have the wrong version of it. Most of people have tracks taken from the compilation, the same sound and version. But I found one "version" that is different, and this one has properties/track lengths as on metal archives.

Unfortunately, I can only find this correct version of the demo in low bitrate (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile2.gif) (128) but I reuploaded anyway so you can hear the difference:
