Наверное пришло время вспомнить и пообщаться об этом замечательнейшем коллективе. Сразу отмечу, что неформатность коллектива весьма относительная - было время, когда у Скорпов хэви был на первом плане и вообще, вклад в тяжёлую музыку Скорпами увесист и неоспорим.

Для меня Скорпы одни из самых-самых. Они первыми ворвались в мой детский неокрепший мозг и сподвигли слушать тяжелую музыку. Сначала до дыр затёртые кассеты с Блэкаутом и Лавдрайвом, позже заезженные два экземпляра винила Зе бест оф Скорпионс 1974-76, затем лицензионные кассеты, ну а после и сотни мп3 всей диско - практически любой альбом можно ставить и точно получишь удовольствие. Но всё-таки, в первую очередь, дико котирую:

Конечно же любимых песен раз в 10 больше - но эти - особенные.
Сожалею, что ни разу не смог побывать на их концерте (хотя они частенько гоцали по Рашше и Укрейне).
Прекрасно понимаю решение Скорпов о прекращении своей карьеры в 2010 году, тем более, что последний студийник вышел каким-то натянутым и скажем так, очень слабым, но всё же немного страшно при мысли, что Скорпионс больше не запишут новой баллады, не сыграют боевичка и будут просто ждать своей смерти в кругу семьи. Очень грустно (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile2.gif) Долгих лет им жизни! Громадное спасибо за проделанный труд!

В Питере около двух тысяч это вполне нормальная цена билета для стадионной группы, особенно если это сидячие билеты.
Привсей моей любви к Dream Theater, в России она со Скорпами конкурировать не может, ибо Скорпионс у нас группа, можно сказать народная.

У меня вопрос: а весь ли хард-рок такой попсовый как сабж и иже с ним, или это только эмтиви-версии? Не, ну мало ли, мож есть какой-нить андерграундный хард-рок, где пожоще.

Кстати Скорпов свистеть Горбачёв научил. Вместе репетировали wind of change. В итоге насвистелись так,что СССР обанкротился и развалился, а немецкие деньжата (впрочем и всю страну) взяли под контроль мигранты. Вот после этого не верь в народные приметы (IMG:style_emoticons/default/fear.gif)

Guys, here's a food for thought:

being a huge fan of thrash metal, I'm the person running the thrash metal guide (http://www.thethrashmetalguide.com/), I decided to trace the roots of my favourite genre, and to find which band from the old timers had the biggest contribution to the birth of speed/thrash.

This is what I came up with; certainly, this list can't be extremely accurate, and it only includes pure heavy metal acts, and it doesn't bother with isolated cuts from other genres (Queen's 'Stone Cold Crazy", to give one example). Please note that all the tracks have been written before 1981, when the first Venom album ("Welcome to Hell") appeared which I personally consider the first full-blooded attempt at speed/proto-thrash. So these are the bands, and the songs which are the precursors of speed/thrash metal:

Black Sabbath:
"Children of the Grave" (1971)
"Into the Void" (1971)
"Symptom of the Universe" (1975)


Judas Priest
"Tyrant" (1976)
"Genocide" (1976)
"Exciter" (1978)
"Rapid Fire" (1980)


Motorhead
"Motorhead" (1977)
"Overkill" (1979)
"Ace of Spades" (1980)


In the works of Accept, Iron Maiden, Riot, and Saxon before the mentioned year I didn't find any tunes pertaining to speed/thrash.

So here is the Scorpions' list:
"Dark Lady" (1975)
"Virgin Killer" (1976)
"Steamrock Fever" (1977)
"He's a Woman - She's a Man" (1977)
"Another Piece of Meat" (1979)
"Can't Get Enough" (1979)
"Lovedrive" (1979)
"Don't Make No Promises" (1980)
"Only a Man" (1980)

If we include 1982, for example, two more tracks go into the list from "Blackout" ("One", "Dynamite").
As you can see, there is enough material here for a whole full-length. Let's make an experiment:

put all these tracks together as one LP, and listen it back to back with Anthrax's 'Fistful of Metal", Exciter's "Heavy Metal maniac", Hawaii's "One Nation Underground", or even Slayer's 'Show no Mercy", if you like. I exclude Metallica, of course, since "Kill'em All" is already total thrashing madness by then...

So our favourites the Scorps look like the most likely fathers of the speed/thrash metal genre. Any objections?

Хотелось бы темку по ним замутить, а она примерно есть такая.

Так что же лучшее всё таки у Скорпов, так и не определились, надо бы форсировать события, так сказать чётко, по местам, например первых 3-5-7-10 мест.
