То, что я выложил, это РИП с дижипака, внутри, кроме отличного оформления диска и буклета, ещё лежал мини-плакат Аббата и Демоназа

Сижу вот пью любимый вискарь, а в наушники ненапряжно льется Immortal - Battles In The North (1995), любезно предоставленный држественным апологетом блэка. Что сказать? То ли виски действует расслабляюще, то ли я морально созрел, но входящий музыкальный поток не вызывает никакого отторжения, и даже наоборот... кайф эст... (с.666)
Вот... начал задумываться о том, что я слышу, анализировать, и в голове начало расти напряжение, изгоняя дымку кайфа... К черту размышления и оценки, к черту анализ... о...вот он... возвращается...мой кайф..
Полцарства за этот голос...

трю блек а про зиму и про холод . Само название альбома многое обешает . Черт "битвы в севере "
или может "сражения в севере" что может быть более гениальным ? и действительно прослушивая
этот альбом я ошушаю себя солдатом которы сражается в зимном холоде . Я предстовляю Столкнавение
двух великих армии . Недавно на одном из русских сайтов я заметил рецу про этот альбом и
черт *(( удевился увидев что кокой то урод поставил 2/10 этому шедевру (IMG:style_emoticons/default/21.gif) Я думаю
что люди лешонные чевством романтизма и у которых нет ностальгии по этим самым зимным
холодом и сражении не должны писать рецы на такие совершенные альбомы (IMG:style_emoticons/default/23.gif)
а если им просто нравится музычка пусть боргиров слушают или там кредлов .. ну то что им
больше будет понятном .

Не, ну Pure Holocaust однозначно лучше - он и поинтереснее, и поразнообразнее, а в чем-то даже и поатмосфернее (только атмосфера там ещё другая, родом с дебютника - атмосфера глухой ночи и Дьявольского Полнолунного Мистицизма (IMG:style_emoticons/default/fear.gif) ). Да и "Blizzard Beasts" я бы поставил повыше.
"Сражения на Севере", конечно, валят с ног своей хищным остервенением и хрустящей атмосферой Крайнего Севера (хотя на альбомах 99-02 она, атмосфера эта, выражена сильнее), но после блестящего начала - "Battles in the North" (IMG:style_emoticons/default/true_black.gif) , "Grim and Frostbitten Kingdoms" (IMG:style_emoticons/default/true_black.gif) - всё сливается в однообразную долбежную массу, в которой выделяется лишь донельзя интересная мелодия в глубине (а именно на 3.14 - 3.34) "Circling Above in Time Before Time" (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile4.gif) .
Кроме того крайне странно построены композиции - они тупо обрываются без какого-либо логического завершения (IMG:style_emoticons/default/16.gif) Я даже вначале думал что у меня какая-то порезанная копия. Странный ход (IMG:style_emoticons/default/21.gif)

Наконец-то как следует расслышал все сочные гитарные рифы и мелодичные ходы на этом альбоме. Атмосферность убавили, зато в музыкальном плане стало еще интереснее. Обволакивающее звучание гитар (на клиппинг внимание не обращается) - раньше было похоже на пылесос, в наушниках от телефона Nokia (IMG:style_emoticons/default/15.gif) . Зато теперь - даже не стена звука, а камера из дисторшированного саунда! Басуху и правда услышать можно далеко не всегда, что странно - такое звучание гитар наоборот подразумевает широкие возможности по вкраплению басовой линии. Хотя это нисколько не мешает. Альбом, как и предыдущий, на твердую десятку.
