Неплохо, но не более. Олдскул в духе Demilich, Demigod, местами Immolation, Incantation. Послушать можно, но напрягаться, искать на некоем Unspeakable Axe Records компакт диск (и скорее всего переплачивать за почту более чем за сам диск, как это сейчас стало обыденным делом) не стоит. Chthe'ilist нарулили в этом году куда как более годный воршип, вот кого надо брать в обязательном порядке (я, к слову, уже получил (IMG:style_emoticons/default/crazy.gif) ).

Я бы вообще взял этот компакт только в случае, если бы он появился в каком то российском дистро (потому что живу в России) по цене так рубликов в 300, максимум 400. Вот что я подразумевал под "напрягаться".

Не уверен насчет техникал, а вот олдскула тут по самое не могу. В чем то немного даже примитивного, но от этого не менее приятно так ностальгического. Ее богу, как на 20-25 лет назад вернулся. Короче, понравилось.

Чтобы распробовать и понять эту работу, мне понадобилось чуть больше времени.
Сначала альбом показался слишком простым, но со временем понравился именно этим олдскульным примитивизмом и думовыми замедлениями.

Хороший альбом, но далек от совсем уж бурных брызгающих белком восторгов.

Так исторически сложилось, что мое знакомство с Nucleus началось в обратном порядке.
Релиз Entity 2019 года забракован по причине невзятия заявленной планки и нераскрытия потенциала / заявленных идей. До сих пор считаю этот альбом разочарованием.

Что касается Sentient, то сабжевый дебютный полноформат видится более ровным и целостным, хотя и достаточно вторичным по отношению к Demilich, который тут прет из всех щелей и фрагментарно перевирается на свой лад в каждом первом треке. Конечно, не смею обвинить Nucleus в плагиате, но отрицать вдохновение отцов здесь бессмысленно. Такое прочтение Death Metal требует серьезного мастерства и понимания, поэтому здесь, что называется, работа выполнена "в духе". При этом выполнено солидно, со вкусом, с хорошей техникой и инженерией, а стало быть уважаемо и достойно похвалы.

На официальной странице группы есть угроза, что они начинают сочинять новый материал. Не смотря на неровную дискографию, искренне надеюсь, что эта группа еще может раскрыться. Задаток чувствуется, третий альбом, если ему суждено увидеть свет, может стать переломным моментом в карьере.
