вчера переслушал ещё разок - всё-таки умели ребятки в 95-м такое замутить, уровень композиторства зашкаливает за пределы мрачности и ничтожества существования, мелодизм диссонанса и унисон противоречий погружают в тёмные времена средневековой инквизиции, заставляют найти на небесах огненную мглу Ада.
Что удивительно - последний раз слушал сиё творение лет 12-14 назад, а до сих пор помню эти чертовски замечательные мелодии (IMG:style_emoticons/default/25.gif)

Изначально заинтересовало название группы. Потом названия песен (ну не может After the Fruits of Ephemeral Pulchritude быть названием блэк-песни!!!).
Ну а потом собственно и до прослушивания дошло. Напомнило французский суп бурдэ или рвоту страдающего обжорством: намешано столько всего, необычного и несовместимого, с неожиданными скоростями и гармониями; перескоками с блэка на готику и неокласику (и даже джаз с блюзом есть в Latin Dreams in Turpentine); с жирными бас-партиями и уходами в грайндкор, разнообразными вокальными приемами и инструментами. Что самое интересное - не звучит как глупая претензия на оригинальность. Наоборт, все кажется сплавленным (слепленным, сигранным и т.д.) так естественно, органично, что прям слов нет. Пожалуй, что не понравились с альбома лишь Intro Im Teich Erlischt Ein Bachlein (слишком бедно звучит на фоне остальных). Может, каждый день такое и нет смысла слушать, но для прочистки музыкального сознания от банальности и штампов - как раз!!!

в год выхода слушалось, что называется, на одном дыхании. ещё они тут мелодичные весьма, насколько я помню... а всякие навороты будут далее, на 2 следующих опусах.
