I've listened to it, was interested if Leviathan track was something worth hearing.

I've always wondered why people appreciate this band as much as they do, I tried to be open-minded believing someday I'll find a good Leviathan song that I'll like.

Once again, I feel disappointed. There are so many USBM bands that are worthy of recognition and respect, but they are shadowed by "big" bands like Leviathan. I simply cannot hear any good music here even if I try hard to find something good.

I'm glad to see Leviathan song is as long as it is, almost 12 minutes. I gave my energy, time and effort to try to finally find an enjoyable Leviathan song which would explain to me why the band is so famous. All I hear is some sort of depressive black/ambient which has the same riffs, style and idea like hundreds of other new-age-digital-BM bands. It is even worse because "ambient" parts are bad and don't serve their purpose, and vocals are so bad that I don't even uderstand how the artist can listen to himself while recording this. I think that, when it comes to USBM, for us in Europe - most of us see their scene in a bad way, like "USBM is weak". I love USBM but now I see why people see USBM as weak, if Leviathan is one of the most well-known bands....

Anyway, I felt curious, dedicated and optimistic enough to give this new Leviathan song a chance. After doing it, I just think there are so many other bands that I wish I had spent my time listening to instead of this.

Conclusion - I'm sad to say that this cannot even measure with other well known Ambient/BM bands such as Paysage d Hiver or Striborg, and time is better spent listening to bands like that than wasting time on Leviathan.

P.S: Enjoyed Crawl song way more than Leviathan. Atmosphere makes you feel like you're sinking into Sagittarius A*

могу согласится только с тем, что запись довольно размытая по содержанию.
но критиковать всё творчество, это сильно конечно.
много хороших американских групп, непонятно что автор поста имеет против именно L.

Leviathan конечно уже давно не торт... но говорить про всё творчество, что оно некчемное... да еще со Стриборгом сравнивать... Borderline1991, ты не прав!

думаю она имеет в виду, что есть в массах заблуждение, что европейский Black Metal на порядок мощнее, чем американский. или USBM слабее, чем скандинавский. как посмотреть. стереотипная чушь, типа высказываний Задорнова
Leviathan не слушал ещё, но уверен, что ужаснее 2015 Striborg'а он не будет.

Каноничный такой Рест, не пикового уровня, пожалуй, но узнаваемый и хороший. Как мне показалось, вещь из серии тех, что ближе к "люркеровским". С начала трэка ловишь нехилые такие бадаламентиевские вайбы.
На вторую банду абсолютно пох (может и зря, неважно).

Примерно такие же впечатления.

Узнаваемый Левиафан но слишком разряженный, аморфный, вещи с альбома 2003 шедевральны здесь же как подражатели какие сотворили нечто похожее...

А мне его блек не нравится, слушаю только альбом с амбиентом, а этот трек понравился, такой альбом я бы послушал.

Отличный Левиафан. Первый трэк - сошел бы за интро.
