Нет, там как раз и мясо, и звук в адеквате, и хиты какие-никакие есть, а перед ним только рубилово без смысловой нагрузки.

Блин, я щас специально вне очереди Сатанику с Телемой переслушаю. Не было там рубилова, была тяжесть, довольно мелодичная и даже размеренная, тогда никакой пулеметностью, которая на следующих альбомах вылезла, и не пахло. Ни в гитарах, ни в барабасах.

Ну хз, уж на что я фрик в смысле согласия/несогласия с общепринятым мнением о хитовости того или иного альбома, но тут я стою на стороне большинства - Сатаника хитовая штука.

Переслушал. Про безмозглую долботню - это дудки, конечно. Альбомы дышащие, разнообразные, не гнушающиеся пауз, замедлений, мелодичных соляков. Хуков - до [мат->бан]ы. На Сатанике, действительно, молотильня нашлась, особенно по части ударных, но поверх них много читаемых и сингалонговых вокальных мелодий.
По поводу звука барабанов вопрос довольно интересный. Сатаника - думаю, звук не лучший, глуховат и недостаточно железен, но с другой стороны, превалирование ударных оттеснило бы остальные, очень жирные, плюсы альбома. В целом норм. А вот Телема - тут как раз звук офигенный, на концовке "Inflamed with Rage" у меня аж внутри ушей зачесалось.

Оба альбома топовые.

Too much drums because it's the only good thing in Behemoth's music. Nergal would do nothing without Inferno who is a great drummer but he's much better in underground bands such as Azarath, Witchmaster, Deus Mortem (first EP and first album) and last demo of Terrestrial Hospice.
I'm not sure if Behemoth deserves to be called ''Death Metal band''. There are better Death Metal bands such as Azarath, Anima Damnata, Throneum etc.
In fact the last good album of Behemoth is ''Grom''. I'm also not a fan of video clips of Black/Death Metal bands. Some are ok, but most of them are worthless.
