многие группы, как и сабж, давно ушли от откровенного джента, но по прежнему ассоциируются с данным жанром, элементы конечно присутствуют, но сама музыка уходит именно из техничного дж дж в лирическо-атмосферные области, тут скорее у многих неприятие излишней мелодичности, "сопливых" вокалов и в целом "попсовости" материала, такую музыку без проблем усваивают поклонники мьюз, депеш мод, радиохэд и так далее., но с трудом любители олд дэта, трэша или блэка, естесственно есть и маргиналы везде

Ну, не знаю, что-то не заметил, все нули и бенды на месте. Скорее просто данный термин постепенно уходит из обихода, не снискав должной популярности. Ну а послушав альбом, могу сказать, что не услышал ничего нового, что данная очередная попытка в третий раз продать Altered State к ознакомлению не обязательна.

Хотел было сказать, что я веган и мне не понравилось. Но понравилось.
Вообще имхо группа только прогрессирует. Ну и очевидно, что многие не выкупают такого прогресса.
Количество звуков в музыке с каждым альбомом все уменьшается, и атмосфера и мелодия уже создаются не только мертвыми нотами, но их отсутствием, так что надо аж домысливать. Людям, предпочитающим стену звука, конечно, это бывает сложно понять.

Альбом является продолжением идей предыдущего, также создавая отличную атмосферу. Качевые мощные вещи также присутствует, но атмосфера и эмбиент-таки доминируют.

Один недостаток - маловато, но это значит можно с легкость послушать два круга за раз.
