Discogs often isn't objective opinion about the music style. I copied the style from metal-archives where their style marked as Thrash Metal (early)/Hardcore Punk (later). 1987 year was a dawn of the band's path, so...
But I agree with you, it's more hardcore.

I don't trust Metal-archives at all, sorry... Very much more mistakes on M-Archives than Discogs, i.m.o. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/16.gif)
