Когда решил отдохнуть от финки и зафигачить альбом в формате трублэка, надо делать это так, как делает Вервольф - как будто занимался этим всю сознательную жизнь. Молотилово в духе Дарктрона в расцвете сил, с обязательными, хотя и лишними на мой взгляд блэк-балладами. Неожиданно было услышать такое, и надеюсь, что это не разовый эксперимент.

PS. А вот с чем SW катастрофически не везёт в последнее время, так это с кавер-артами. То волколак с обложки "дарк фентези" в мягком переплете, то фотка из бабушкиной спальни. Спасибо хоть без садово-дачного инвентаря в руках.

Да подобные обложки характерны для подавляющего числа бм коллективов, даже ща каждый второй релиз, вываливающийся сюда - с подобными изображеньицами - где-то с большим лолом, где то с меньшим)

Если бы мне сказали, что это новый альбом Judas Iscariot, я бы поверил. Ранние альбомы были какой-то псевдотрушной фигней, но этот альбом пошел в правильном направлении.

I know this album is getting praises all over the place cause it's just "old school" and pleases the trve and elitist audience but to me this is a bit boring. I've heard this kind of black metal when i was a teenager and grew out of it after some years. Theres tons of albums that sound like this, why THIS specifically gets all the praise? Also you get this kind of BM from every "vampyric black metal" band on the planet. Just listen to Black Funeral's "Flames of Samūm" from this year for example.

I've rated some Satanic Warmaster albums pretty high myself, but this one is just average. Also The True Werwolf is better.

во многом соглашусь. Эндрю, мать его, Харриса на его поле никто не уделает, но и приблизиться к оному задача маловыполнимая. и на мой взгляд SW эту задачу не то чтоб провалил, несмотря на то, что в помощь себе пригласил давнего соратника Ахенатена по JI и Sarcophagus, но выполнил формально, как имитатор.
чем-то подобным в 2024 занимается чел из Венесуэлы в проектах Svartr и Skoll og Hati, с поправкой на ориентированность в Дарктрон 93-94. впрочем Вервольф в своём эпигонстве более-менее убедителен и слушабелен.

Не вышло Эхнатона из Вервольфа. Слишком уж эпигонисто. Напомнило такую группу патрия, которая была дарктронистей самого дарктрона.

I don't see a point of Satanic Warmaster returns to raw black metal sound just be trve kvlt. Not only in case of music, but the cover art too (IMG:style_emoticons/default/1488.gif) Just to mention last two albums, ''Fimbulwinter'' and melodic ''Aamongandr'' were more original and of a high quality, while this one isn't bad, but it feels like ''Exultation of Cruelty'' is an unnecessary release.
