Альбом очень понравился (действительно, не подкачали голландцы)
Опять основное блюдо (неторопливый дэт - дэт/дум) изрядно сдобрен приправами (пост-метал и около блэк)
Причем, иногда эти приправы идут без основного блюда по отдельности, а на одной вещи даже вместе (и этот "кусок" был бы совсем не лишним на очень многих блэковых альбомах)
После первого же прослушивания в голове "осели" несколько красивых "въедливых" мелодий, которые потом звучали сами по себе, а при следующем прослушивании сильно добавили удовольствия
Очень приятно удивило начало 5-й вещи (Hardening of the Heart), где так неслабо что-то КатиТони 1996-1997 (привет Блэкхейму!)

Странно, при такой обложке и никто не попырил чтоль? Альбом очень понравился, не хужее Стервятников, как по мне. Дум вот явил себя только на Beneath Starless Skies. Hardening Of The Heart шикарна, прям мелодэтный мелодэт.

Из трёх прослушанных альбомов вчера и сегодня (Rivers Of Nihil, Vildhjarta, Graceless) этот понравился больше всех. Дума не заметил. Отличный олдскул дэт с хорошими мелодиями.

Очень и очень неплохой альбом получился. Заметил небольшой крен в мелодизм, но это не критично. Местами стали сильно напоминать Бенедикшен, но и это не критично, а скорее даже наоборот.

Не догоняю я эту группу никак. Да, мелодии хорошие здесь есть, местами ПЛ напоминают, может и Кататонию, как выше упоминали, но блин, какой же унылый и разреженный ритмический каркас у музыки, плотность нулевая, никакого бенедикшна и в помине нет. Вот последняя песня ничего, пободрее, туда бы мелодий добавить и было бы ничего, а так ни дэт, ни дэтдум, ни думдэт, и эти ваши типа грувовые риффы говорят о том, что и готик металом тоже не группа не стала

Специально сейчас пробно прогнал. Не, ну ладно Кататония, если есть дэт/дум, то при желании можно найти параллели с дебютом шведов (хотя "Hardening of the Heart" звучит, как Brave Murder Day, лол. Классная песня), но псто-митола я тут не слышу. Какие-то предтеча оного - возможно, но так сам по себе дум и является его предтечей. Так можно и на том же дебюте Кататонии пост услышать.

Приятный альбус, но это чистая бенедикшеноподобная дейсуха с небольшим думовым налетом. Есть медленные темы вроде препоследней и третьей композиции за сим все. А играют отлично.
