Я скажу - отличный альбом!

Эмбиентных частей стало больше, и они стали гораздо красивее. Но при этом гитары и вокал ничуть не изменились. Сначала кажется, что предыдущий их релиз был атмосфернее, но к середине альбома понимаешь, что это не так. Группа развивается, причем развивается в совершенно правильном направлении.

Хочется особо отметить композиции:
A Dream Of A Dead Sun,
Tortured By Solitude (самая сильная не-эмбиентная вещь на альбоме),
Winterreise (за очень красивое, "космическое" звучание клавишных) и
Escape (настоящий шедевр! очень оригинальные ударные в начале (почему то вспомнились Depeche Mode), замечательная гитарная партия в середине и красивейшие клавишные - пробирает до слез).

Но, Schmerzensschreie, на мой взгляд, действительно как-то не в тему... Но общее впечатление от этого ничуть не портится.

Итак, альбом удался на славу! Иначе как шедевром это не назовешь...
Оценка от меня - 10/10 (кстати, в первый раз за этот год).

Schmerzensschreie - нормально на мой взгляд даже очень!!! и чего докапались?!!! пока слушаю, общее впечатление положительное!!! насчет депрессивной атмосферы лучше б поговорили!!! если сравнивать с thestarsaredeadnow то какие отличия и общая атмосферика? с thestarsaredeadnow мне понравились всего две темы: 1 -this empty life - самая сильная и цепляющая вещь и 2 - suicide - заезжена до безобразия, но с оттенками попсовости (имхо)
