Шейпов напоминает весьма отдаленно. В данном случае уместно сравнивать с Skepticism, Worship, Tyranny, Pantheist, Despond, Thergothon и т.д.

PS. Shape Of Despair считаю самой "нежной" из funeral doom'а, что в принципе не мешает им быть одной из моих любимых групп.

Ярые файнал думщики! Обясните мне одна вещь... как то раз скачал(чиста случайна) какуюто группу бренькаюую тот самый файнал дум и чёто мне вообще не понятно стало что за музыка...мож альбом осечный был...Сам дум я уважаю... а вот файнал не могу понять...вообщем на что похоже или с чем можна хоть сравнить...?

На мой взгляд больше всего похожи на Skepticism, очень похожи
а вот Loss, хм.. я бы не сказала, МС куда мрачнее и депрессивнее..

А для меня наоборот. К тому ж мне Лосс куда больше нравится, т.к. у него мелодии повыразительнее (IMG:http://metalarea.org/forum/style_emoticons/default/smile1.gif)

Группа очень интересна в плане мелодики. В отличии от этого коллектива, многим фунерал-проэктам не хватает мелодичности, чего-то цепляющего за душу...

както бродят товарищи австралийцы, разгуливают, неспешно, но не на ультранизкой скорости, куда вокал спрятался? горло отморозил? ну вот вторая компо пошла, так помедленней будет, аго и вокаллер вскрылся, и заткнулся сразу же, я вощемто люблю когда так низенько гроулят, тут как бы шепотком зловещим , да полу гроулом,,, ну и покатило так медленно, аго

а на мой взгляд - довольно светлый альбомчик. такой задумчиво-медитативный. и очень добрый.
и да, чистый проигрыш на 9 минуте первой композиции - один из лучших моментов, что я слышал. а в последней песне - два просто потрясающих гитарных соло.
и вообще, я считаю, что лучше МС фьюнерала нет, не было и не будет (ну кроме еще одной группы).
