I tried so hard to find some but they're so rare in this country.

Friend,I can recomend you a truly awesome band from Usa called "Xanthos".It's a very similar to Finish viking/folk metal.So it's best band in ths style from USA i ever heard

ну конечно же, американцы должны были изобрести indian-metal и wild_west-metal как аналоги фолька и викинга, соответственно))) а что? в индиане песнопения и шаманские ритмы ещё как замутить можно, вот тебе и фольк с паганом, тем более что у индейцев богатый мир легенд и мифов...
А Вильд_Вест бы как раз бы заместо Викинг рассказывал бы о мародёрстве, поединках бледнолицых (именуемых дуэлями) ну и вообще про вагонную жизнь этих самых бледнолицых...

Interesting but I thought that I'll never hear of US viking metal.Of course black is international but Viking metal is not for USA.
But they can be more successful in discovering of new style, something like Indian Metal (IMG:style_emoticons/default/1488.gif)
