Зачёт, однако!

Отличный альбом, недочетов не заметил. Серьезный шаг вперед по сравнению с дебютным сплитом.
Жаль, что оригинальный скриминг противного и злющего гнома уступил место более традиционным для техно-дэта формам вокала.

Воодушевлённый творчеством Draco Hypnalis - а моё знакомство с ними началось с альбома Balance of Moments (2012), - я решил обратиться к дебюту чехов, которым данный альбом, Weavers Of Unrest (2005), и является. И снова, как в прошлый раз, у меня остались самые положительные и позитивные впечатления от работы этих ребят! Начнём с жанра альбома: предложенный вариант "Technical/Symphonic Death Metal" считаю не особо удачным - лично я не нахожу Draco Hypnalis "техникал"-группой, они не играют техно-дэт, акцента на технику здесь нет, а вот прогрессив-дэт - да, вполне; что же касается термина "симфоник", то он, на мой взгляд, тоже не совсем точен, ибо куда уместнее называть вторую ипостась чехов словом Neoklassical. Итого получается: Neoklassical/Progressive Death Metal. Главное отличие данного альбома от двух последующих заключается, главным образом, в вокальной стороне - поющего здесь Лукаса, более склонного к чернометалльной манере, впоследствии сменит более разноплановый Пэт. Впрочем, Лукас тоже не зацикливается на скриминговом оре, пользуется также глубоким рычанием, а иногда (впрочем, редко) и чистыми вокалами. В остальном Weavers Of Unrest мало чем отличается от других работ группы - это красивый и энергично-скоростной стаф, под завязку набитый размашистыми прого-дэтовыми рифами, сдобренный неоклассик-элементами, мелодичностью и, что наиболее приятно, оригинальностью. Скоростные скачки по пересечённой прого-дэт-местности в середине альбома приостанавливаются при помощи "барьера" под названием Departed for the Cloud - Vaulted Portal - миниатюрной симфо-сюиты, в которой балом правят, главным образом, скрипки. Совершенно очевиден статус подобного инструментала: промежуточная вещь, дабы "разбавить" материал. Конечно же, сразу после него снова бросается в бой быстрый и лихой прого-дэт, радующий своим звучанием, очень неплохим басом и симпатичными гитарными соло. В Green Cathedrals Painted by Silent Wings на аван-сцену выходит очаровательный клавишный рефрен-пассаж, естественно, с оттенком неоклассик - он существенно украшает изыскания чехов. И снова хочу отметить: какими бы оригинальными ни были идеи музыкантов, эти идеи не прозвучат без наличия адекватного звука. У Draco саунд великолепный, что позволяет схватывать мелодии и ритмы чехов с первого же прослушивания. Одним из самых ударных номеров альбома (если, вообще, не самым лучшим) я считаю There We Stand Bonded - пожалуй, единственный трек, который кроме "прогрессив-дэта", можно ещё и наделить тэгом "техникал". Заканчивает небольшой по своему объёму альбом Coda (кто бы сомневался! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile1.gif) ) - в общем-то, обычная симфо-сюита, каких навалом было у тех же Therion времён A'arab Zaraq. Что ж, альбом мне понравился, хотя и Balance of Moments всё же несколько посильнее. 8.5/10
