Итальянский монах-капуцин Чезаре Боницци (Cesare Bonizzi), известный как основатель метал-группы Fratello Metallo (Брат Металл), решил навсегда покинуть сцену. Об этом 13 ноября, в пятницу, сообщает Reuters. Монах заявил, что пойти на этот шаг и прекратить активную концертную деятельность его вынудил дьявол.

"Дьявол сделал так, что я отдалился от своих менеджеров. Более того, я был близок к тому, чтобы порвать связь со своими коллегами по группе и даже отвернуться от своих товарищей-монахов. Он сделал меня знаменитым, и теперь я собираюсь его убить", - заявил Боницци в одном из своих последних интервью.

Монах-металлист отметил, что ближайший концерт Fratello Metallо в Италии станет последним шоу в истории группы. "Будем считать, что предстоящее выступление ознаменует смерть коллектива", - отметил капуцин. Во время прощального обращения к поклонникам товарищи брата Чезаре побрили его наголо в знак того, что отныне он начинает новую жизнь.

В интервью итальянскому изданию Il Giornale капуцин заявил, что музыка Fratello Metallo всегда оставалась чистой и возвышенной. "Если ты играешь тяжелую музыку, это вовсе не значит, что ты поклоняешься сатане. В наших композициях не было никакого намека на сатанизм", - подчеркнул монах-музыкант.

Отвечая на вопрос о том, какие темы ему нравилось затрагивать в своем творчестве, Боницци отметил, что чаще всего он писал песни о "семье, женщинах, сексе, Иисусе, наркотиках и вере". Брат Чезаре выразил надежду, что сможет продолжить карьеру, но уже не в качестве фронтмена Fratello Metallo, а как уличный музыкант.

Чезаре Боницци родился на севере Италии в 1946 году. Принял постриг в 1975 году, а в 1990-х годах посетил концерт группы Metallica и так впечатлился, что начал сам писать песни и организовал метал-группу. По словам брата Чезаре, "метал - это самая искренняя, глубокая и отличающаяся особой красотой" музыка. Монах записал десять пластинок, последняя из которых - "Misteri" - вышла в 2008 году.

Интересный проект, конечно. Нашел тут клипец еще, на английском причем. Фраза WHAT THE HELL в исполнении батюшки звучит с особо суровой колоритностью. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/5.gif)


Та же песня, но на итальянском языке и с криповым детским хором. Не определился, какая версия мне нравится больше (IMG:style_emoticons/default/true_black.gif)



Кстати, на этом же канале, кажется выложены все его альбомы в разных стилях. Особого внимания заслуживает его первый метал-альбом, выпущенный под названием Metalluminium, это ж практически Dio. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/5.gif)
