Собсна, Gates Of Ishtar - (IMG:style_emoticons/default/pray.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/pray.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/pray.gif) , это не обсуждается. Хотелось бы узнать, существуют ли команды, похожие на данный ВИА стилем, звучанием и так далее? Весьма нетривиальный МДМ, в принципе-то.

Gates Of Ishtar у них особая музыка, я такой ешё ни у 1й группы не слышал, возможно Rotting Christ могут в какомто смысле "РЕЗАТЬ" , как Gates Of Ishtar, но это не МДМ. Сам бы с удовольствием послушал чёнить вроде Gates Of Ishtar, для меня они идеал МДМ, жаль, что распались и создали The Duskfall, посравнению с Gates Of Ishtar, The Duskfall ничтожная групишка не более. Послушай с 2002 года Rotting Christ альбом Genesis и далее, это не МДМ, но я думаю понравится в чём то сходство есть. Кстати на торрентс ру по етой ссылке http://torrents.ru/forum/viewtopic.php?t=604372 вся дискография Gates Of Ishtar во флаке.

Российские Absurd были всегда достаточно близки музыкально.

Ещё теоретически можно заценить The Everdawn - тоже близко, в принципе.

Оп, спасибо за наводку, Эвхарист действительно офигенни.

Кстати, наткнулся тут на первую демку "правопреемников" ГоИ - The Duskfall, называется "Deliverance". Как я понял, материал до неё писался или во времена ГоИ, то ли сразу после. Оно и видно - дух предшественницы на месте, очень и очень достойно. Жаль, что потом скатились в тупой модерн (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile2.gif)

банальные советы

по мне - так калитка Иштар - не аутентичный олдскул совсем
разве что 1ый альбом

посему советовать стандартный супнабор как минимум недальновидно

по сути:
Brimstone послушай
хотя это считается "power with harsh vocals", но имеет значительно больше общего с сабжем (2 и 3 альбом во всяком случае), чем перечисленные банды

Именно. Тут важен не сам факт того. что олдскул, а именно стилевая направленность (у них блэковых и хэви-металлических примесей килотонны) и... звучание общее, штоле.
Дебютник Skymning оказался близок к истине.

А шведская классика типа АтГ, АмС и Гардениан - давно заслушанный до дыр мегапрей, но всё равно не то (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile1.gif)

Выскажусь по этому вопросу и я (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile1.gif) GoI конечно классная группа. Особенно я люблю их первый альбом - в нем классный хэви металлический риф, а блэковость - это то, что большинство групп сейчас позабыло. А ведь наш любимый мелодик дет, такой, каким его сделали Творцы, это стиль, который находился на перекрестке разных стилей: хэви, дета, блека и треша. Использование всех этих элементов как раз и определяет олд-скул. У GoI присутствуют они все (IMG:style_emoticons/default/pray.gif) Исходя из этого я предожу свой список групп, в который я включил не самые известные (типа Sacrilege), но довольно таки. И так:
Amenti (только блека почти нет, но риффы определенно похожи)
Amsvartner
Asguard (первых 3)
Burden Of Grief (первых 2)
Cyphoria (божественная демка)
Deathless
Evermork
Excretion (вот это определенно)
Holymarsh
Impedigon
Moaning Wind (обязательно слушать!)
Moonstruck
Ты, как почитатель стиля наверное знаешь большинство (если не все) из этих групп, но вставить свои 5 коп. я считал законным долгом (IMG:style_emoticons/default/25.gif)
