As far as I know, Лёд (releaser) always makes CD-rips with high bitrate (320).
Minhyriath is underground band, so it may sound worse than some other Folk Metal groups.

Мне первый тоже понравился, только там качество записи было не очень. Играет мощно, но прямолинейно. И гроул у него такой же дубовый.

Такой Folk Metal тоже нужен, особенно если получается его исполнять. А т.к. на кристалльно чистый звук я поклал Могучий Арийский Болт, то всё и вовсе хорошо.

Most likely production. Since they're underground; really doesn't matter if the bitrate is 1 million, it will still sound the same.
