Норвежские готик-металлисты TRISTANIA назвали свой новый альбом "Rubicon" и планируют выпустить на австрийском лейбле Napalm в следующие сроки:

25 августа - Испания
27 августа – Германия, Австрия, Швейцария, Бенилюкс, Италия, Швеция
30 августа – остальные страны Европы
31 августа – США и Канада

Вот что сказали по этому поводу участники группы: "Мы считаем, что результат получился замечательным, и мы с огромным нетерпением ждем выхода альбома".

Трек-лист "Rubicon" выглядит следующим образом:

Ранее группа заявляла по поводу нового диска: " Мы в полном восторге от него, мы считаем, что этот альбом должен понравиться тем из вас, кто поддерживал нас все эти годы. По нашей старой традиции, на диске будет несколько сюрпризов и элементов, которые являются новыми для нашей музыкальной вселенной. На диске появятся пять разных вокалистов, и мы уже объяснили, что Пит Йохансен (Pete Johansen) записал для нас восхитительные партии скрипки – впервые с диска 'World of Glass' (2001).

Истинный грустный, безнадежный и отчаянно красивый дум-блэк-готик с божественным женским вокалом и мелодиями...

Я очень жду нового альбома. Но, скажу откровенно, огромное впечатление производят только первые три альбома. Остальные - я воспринимаю как альбомы НЕТристании. Это совсем другая музыка. В ней уже нет искренности, магии и романтики-трагедии.
Но, новый альбом, всё же, жду.

если с такими настроениями альбома ждать, то лучше и не ждать (IMG:style_emoticons/default/1488.gif) по нескольким сэмплам невозможно понять, умеет человек петь или нет. И я таки думаю, что музыканты группы тоже в вокале разбираются и абы кого на данную вакансию брать не станут

^ I said the same a couple of years ago, but then a Finnish band prove me wrong... And several more, actually. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/1488.gif)
On the subject, Mariangela has a nice voice, but for bands such as Alight, her former one. I guess the entire Tristania music now will have to be subdued in order to match her singing style and though the band is not of interest to me after the golden "Beyond The Veil" era, I'll give them a credit for trying to still play music after literally killing the original formation and what *Tristania* was meant to be in the first place. Hope dies last, they say, but mine has been on the verge of death for an awfully long time when it comes to this band. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/23.gif)

Видел и слышал вживую. Total facepalm. Возможно, как сказал товарищ выше, петь она умеет, но не под такую музыку. Поэтому, либо Тристания сваливается в готик/хэви/павер, либо будем иметь что-то весьма невнятное. В обоих случаях - фейл, я считаю.

з.ы. на концерте Мариангела была пьяная, несколько раз сбивалась, спотыкалась. Хоть не свалилась, хвала Ктулху.
