При всем моем уважении к маэстро и к вовлеченным в проект музыкантам альбомчики-то (что этот, что *Feeding the Machine* (1999)) получились неахти, баллов на 6/10, ну максимум на 7/10. По-моему, James Murphy силен как гитарист, возможно как продюсер, но вот как композитор... большой вопрос. Исполнено всё великолепно, но в музыкальном плане как-то всё тривиально и стандартно..

Дебют у James Murphy вышел отличный! И как же хорошо, что вокала совсем мало, т.к. он ужасен. Инструменталность здесь больше к лицу, в основе альбома лежит шикарный шрэд. Ну второй релиз Feeding The Machine тоже так-то вышел неплохим, он интересный и мелодичный, но всё же данное творение понравилось больше. И да, на втором альбоме вокал стал ещё хуже, нереально плохой. А так в целом очень классный музон от этого дяди.

Вот уж этого точно не смогу сказать, я там не обращал внимания ху из ху. Да даже, если бы и знал, мне абсолютно без разницы, что кто-то поклоняется да хотя бы двум названным тобой вокалистам (хотя и против них ничего не имею). Я лишь высказал мнение и ни чьих личностей не трогал.

Отличная разноплановая работа - красивая, мелодичная, чётко выверенная, насыщенная виртуозными соло-партиями Мэрфи и интереснейшими аранжировками. Инструменталы Convergence, Red Alert и особенно Visions просто превосходны! Лирическая полубаллада Touching The Earth с вокалом Чака Билли, а также Deeper Within - монументальнейшие вещи!
