i'm not saying that taking it is a bad thing, (even though the 320 is transcoded from 256). As long as you host the files on your own server, I don't care.

[more=Extended info]I'd never even heard about this great band until recently. I will say one thing: they do love Mercyful Fate, right down to the face paint and flashy costumes! The music these guys put out is equally demanding of your attention as it is highly original, progressive in nature, and very technical in some parts. My initial thought was the aforementioned Mercyful Fate, mostly due to the wild nature of the vocals (tracks 1-6), a bit of (old) Watchtower in the song arrangements, and the Power/Thrash style of (early) Metal Church. After repeated listenings, you will begin to hear other influences within the songs as well. And that's just the first 6 tracks! Tracks 7-12, being older recordings, have a more 'traditional' sound, especially in the vocals, which remind me of Marcus Marcolin of the great Doom Metal band, Candlemass, and of course, King Diamond. Just listen to the track "Burning Rock" for immediate proof.
Technically, this is not a 'reissue' at all, as none of the tracks within have ever been released in any form (not even as official demos) prior to this 2009 version of the album. This is a first 'issuing' of songs from the 1981-1987 era, and have been re-mastered. It is a 'reissue of the past', you could say. Tracks 1-6 are from recording sessions that took place in 1987 and was intended to be their sophomore album, but never finished, tracks 7-8 are from a 1983 demo, track 9 is from a 1984 demo, tracks 10-11 are from the same previously mentioned 1987 recording sessions, but never finished for the album, and are 'ripped' from a cassette tape, and track 12 is a basement 'boom box' recording from 1981.
Aside from the music, there are a few other really cool things about this reissue. One is the great mastering done on these old songs. The first 6, and main part of the album, sound superb. The production on these 6 tracks are just as good as any (if not better) than any album released during the time it was recorded, major label or no. It also includes a very lengthy, in depth and insightful interview with some of the band members, explaining the groups origins all the way to the time the interviews were given, in 1998. Plus, there's a multimedia CD bonus in the form of a 'live' track on the disc as well.

CD ripped from my personal collection. Complete cover scans included in file.[/more]
