Geist ist Teufel, Teufel ist Geist?

Urfaust's new offering under the spell 'Teufelsgeist' is an impressive diptych of music (the devil) and spirit (geist).

Urfaust has orchestrated an album that represents the stages of intoxication. It starts with an almost euphoric state but slowly devolves in a downward spiralling delirium. Ambient in it's nature, but still filled with the pounding drums, guitars and unique vocals that are trademark Urfaust. A vessel to board to float to intoxication island. The perfect soundtrack that will hold the ritual drinker in it's grip for 34 minutes.

To accompany this musical journey there is a special bottle involved. Teufelsgeist. A geist is a spirit and in this case, that spirit is also a premium distilled small batch gin that has been carefully tuned in all it's exquisite finesse with Hoos London Gin and VRDRBR.

Recorded as always by Urfaust and Deportator in De Bunker. Artwork by Karmazid. Comes in vinyl, cd and tape.

The song is taken from the upcoming album "Natas Liah" to be released at the end of January 2021 by Odium Records as a digi pack, digital and gatefold, heavy Lp (black limited to 234 copies and die hard, white with patch and sticker limited to 66 copies).

Recorded to tape in 2008, mixed and mastered in 2020.

Beyond Man is a band lain dormant for a decade, having risen from the ashes of what was once known as Vordrinn. After numerous line-up changes and unreleased demos behind us, we have taken form again with renewed determination to give old and new material a worthy treatment and release. The song presented, recorded back in 2008 and intended for a 7'"-inch release, represent the pinnacle of our achievements, before other bands like One Tail, One Head, Mare, Saligia, among others, demanded all focus from different members. This can hereby be considered as the first official recording of the entity known as Beyond Man. And we have only just begun.

A never released track!

At the time we are searching our wav. files for the forthcoming Thy Darkened Shade releases. And we found a cover we finalised years before! This is King Diamond's Eye of the Witch.
An artist that influenced us immensely through the years since we were kids. One of the first artists that made us want to play this kind of music forever. The song will stay uploaded for a very limited amount of time and it will be released via WTC along with the Devil's Blood cover in the future. The EP will be called the Eye of the Devil.
