More diverse and less predictable than the band's early efforts; there's a more overt shade of death metal here which brings the sound close to the masters Theory in Practice. Yes, the speed has been decreased a bit, but this makes the album more beautiful and atmospheric. Definitely a success.

These guys have never played black metal in their lives. The style is still classic thrash, but the music is much slower than before without the more brutal death metal leanings, and the songs are longer. Still, good stuff all the way...
