Just a mirror:

For me this is a huge step back, if we are talking about ability to write original songs. Insomnium were never the most original band in the world, but Across the Dark seems to be somewhat plain to me. Also I dont like Before The Dawn approach with the clean vocals and Dark Tranquillity (yes, it is there) riffs in general. I didn't expect them to go fully melodic death metal, but I guess they just want to sell more.. From me as a huge fan of their previous releases: 6/10

After the departure of the rap vocalist from Stuck Mojo, the other members wanted to act with a traditional metal singer.
During this time they had demo auditions with three different vocalists and later released these songs on this CD under the name Sickspeed.
After the release of the CD, the band split up and most of the members founded Fozzy.

Rich Ward is currently working on a Sickspeed boxset encompasing everything the band ever recorded.
