Prolific purveyors of "Bestial Black Metal Filth" since the early 2000s - and, it must be said, years before the term "bestial" entered the underground vernacular - this Finnish one-man entity has been defiling eardrums and spoiling souls across a steady stream of splits and demos, and of course three full-length albums (the last of which, 2012's Perversions of Satan, IRON BONEHEAD released on vinyl).

Mainman Molestor Kadotus is likewise one of the busiest men in Finnish black metal, having run the label Hammer of Hate for many years and contributing to a slew of hordes, some even secret. But at one point in recent years, ANAL BLASPHEMY was put to rest while he started a new project monikered Blasphemous Devotion. While that band only released on demo, the seeds of perversion were replanted and Molestor Kadotus was reinvigorated: ANAL BLASPHEMY would be reborn.

And indeed it is with Western Decadence. In many ways, Western Decadence is characteristic, quintessential ANAL BLASPHEMY: unhinged, untamed, morbid, murky, doomed, disgusting, primordial, PRIMITIVE. It's a sound both obedient to and defiant of black metal's ugliest, most underground-entrenched traditions; not for nothing is ANAL BLASPHEMY so justly named. But in other, more telling ways, Western Decadence is a new start for the band, or at least a very new chapter. The shambling shock & awe of early albums like Bestial Black Metal Filth and Profane Fornication Ejaculation has given way to a moodier and more considered ANAL BLASPHEMY, the roots of which began to show on the relatively more varied Perversions of Satan. Here on Western Decadence, Molestor Kadotus creates a succinct song-cycle whereby pulsing, hypnotic filth gives way to messy, melancholic laments, from headbanging almost-anthems to mulching electro/ambient soundcapes, and often with the haunting organic textures he's utilized in Musta Kappeli. And fitting for the band's grandest statement yet, Western Decadence is the first ANAL BLASPHEMY album to be fully recorded in a professional studio. Witness the fall of the West and feel deep devotion to the Devil: this is Western Decadence.

Originally recorded 14 years ago, never release until now (2014). This was a direct impact due to the band going on a hiatus which stretched for 7 years. The band has claimed that the masters were ceremonially buried in the depths of the New Forest, Hampshire. Unable to find the burial site, the band manged to restore the original stereo mixes which have been packaged in a Ltd edition digipack which were individually numbered and hand stamped with the Old Forest vambraced armoured arm. Those that pre-ordered the album were supposedly emailed a PDF, which contained a map of the suspected burial location.[/more]

Хз, как-то сумбурно, кашеподобно что-ли, лупят, жужжат, диссонируют, резко изменяют ритм, нету за что зацепится уху, последнее время перестал въезжать в такой блек. Прогромыхало мимо, даже не почесался.
Однозначно внимательно переслушаю, но вот сейчас играет примитив от Hats Barn, имхо, гораздо приятнее мне идёт.
