Изумительная эпиха, как и вообще всё у них. Вообще, прежде всего их люблю за медленные моменты, тут материал как-то миталичнее, чем обычно. Акустики хотелось бы побольше, ну. Но трек все равно шик, конечно.
Облога напомнила кавер Ньярда на сплит Верж и БладРедФога, кстати. А еще они на свой залили новые арты к своим старым эпихам, тоже очень симпатичные.

Альбом вообще сказочный. Как бы, самая крутая экспериментальная группа в очередной раз доказывает, что шедевр они могут выдать в абсолютно любом жанре. Тут материал, конечно, не свой, а с любовью подобранный из того, что участники слушали в детстве, но через призму Ulver песни звучат очень ярко и свежо, ну и в целом оказывают просто мозговздръжне эффект.
Проект этот, вообще, очень долгожданный, помнится, кавер на Electric Prunes дичайше заслушивался в глухом качестве, урванном с майспейса, ещё в 2010-ом. Но тогда дальше названия Psyche и неопределённой даты релиза дело так и не ушло, к сожалению. Так что очень хорошо, что поцоны идею не забросили, а таки довершили до конца.
Короче, релиз шик и жыр, вощем-та.

Раз уж тут у вас поправочки по Паноптикону пошли, то стоило бы отметить, что "On the Subject of Mortality" это вовсе не компиля, а вполне себе полноформатный альбом. Там, конечно, песни со сплитов натыканы, но музыкает его определяет именно как свой третий альбус.

Совершенно адовейшая дичь, например. Разнообразие безумных вокалов и припевов напомнило Anaal Nathrakh. Единственное, звук суховат, его бы увлажнить и добавить жырка, было бы вообще ок.
В целом — очень стоящая бесовщина.

Agalloch have completed the recording of their forthcoming EP entitled “Faustian Echoes”. With acclaimed engineer Billy Anderson at the helm, the band recorded a 20 minute long conceptual and colossal track live onto two-inch tape. The recording took place at Jackpot Studio in Portland, Oregon during March 24th-25th. A release date has yet to be set, but we will keep you all updated through our official Facebook page. This EP will appear on both LP and CD.
