NECROS CHRISTOS - NINE GRAVES (EP)

A new year has come;
At the ninth hour, the ninth minute and the ninth second, all flames shall be set on fire within the grand hall of worship.
Moreover, brethren and sisters, we declare unto you the new gospel of the anointed dead yet breathing Christ, let it be known widely that a new release is soon to be at hand.
Scheduled to be released in early May 2014, NECROS CHRISTOS shall unveil an EP entitled NINE GRAVES. It will consist of two new yet unheard songs (not to be featured on the last and final album), as well as two old demons clothed in new vestments. Also featuring four temples and one gate, the overall nine tracks shall function as a bridge between the old and new path the grand NECROS CHRISTOS is walking upon.
To be released on Sepulchral Voice and Ván Records, we´re proud to announce that the artwork of NINE GRAVES shall be created and compiled by Timo Ketola, Manuel Tinnemans and Tlmnn Shepherd.
The recording sessions shall begin in mid February, more news following soon.

NACHTMYSTIUM Is Over, Says BLAKE JUDD

Blake Judd of Chicago-based extremists NACHTMYSTIUM — who was arrested early last month on charges of theft by unauthorized control of property not exceeding $500 in value — has put the band to rest.

In a statement on his Facebook page, Judd writes: "Today, I turn 31 years old and as a gift to myself, as sad as it makes me to do this, I'm letting go of something that I've put blood, sweat and tears into for the last 13 1/2 years.

"It's been an amazing ride full of extreme highs and extreme lows. It's taken me around the world to places I'd never have imagined getting to see / experience. I've toured with some of my favorite bands ever and met some of the most amazing people I could ever have asked to meet. These experiences are fond memories that I will be able to reflect on until the day I die and be eternally grateful for having in my mind.

"There are two releases left that are yet to come out: a split 10-inch MLP with THE MANY, which will be released on Plastik Musik in the coming months, and the band's epitaph LP, 'The World We Left Behind', to be released worldwide on CD / LP / digitally by Century Media Records in spring 2014. A vinyl box set of the band's entire discography is also in the works and will hopefully see the light of day sometime in 2014.

"Thanks to you fans worldwide who've supported the band over the last 13 1/2 years. You are the people I owe the most to, as you helped me bring a dream of mine since my earliest memories of being alive to be able to be a musician and a live performer come to life. Очень красивое повествование. Написано с надрывом - чувствуется, что автор не лукавит и всем нутром прочувствовал каждую строчку вплоть до самой распоследней запятой. Мне, как читателю, нелегко было сдержать нахлынувшие вдруг эмоции - особенно в кульминационном моменте про парашу с дверью (кто не в курсе: параша - это, строго говоря, ведро для отправления естественных нужд, которое дверей не имеет в силу конструкторской недоработки). Но какое это имеет значение?! Все меркнет, гаснет и бледнеет по сравнению с накалом! Одно настораживает - современный нам слушатель какой-то истеричный стал и даже несколько сизифоподобный. С другой стороны оно и понятно - не каждый вытерпит 347 минут второго трека, я бы лично не выдержал. Мне альбом понравился. Угрюмый подземный блэк в духе лучших образцов Норвегии 90-х, и без всяких неожиданностей продолжающий линию самих же Throne Of Katarsis. Ну и вполне понятные влияния гееновского Санраба.

Isvind - Daumyra

Black metal band Isvind is currently working on completing a new album, and the duo was kind enough to send us some details. The album has been titled Daumyra and is most likely recorded and ready for master within a couple of weeks, according to Tommy “Goblin” Iversen. Daumyra will be released by Folter Records, where Kyrck Productions will co-release the vinyl.

Goblin also mentioned a compilation vinyl consisting of old demo tracks. More details on that when they appear.

Isvind was formed in 1993 as a three piece under the name Icewind, and is today a duo consisting of the founding members Arak Draconiiz and Goblin. Isvind’s 2nd full-length album Intet Lever was released in 2011, and a re-release of their 1996 debut Dark Waters Stir was unleashed last year.

Для меня это группа одной песни "Banner Of Blasphemy". Но первые три альбома еще можно было слушать без рвотных позывов. Но чем дальше, тем больше все это засахаривалось. Сейчас же гладенький звучок, незапоминающиеся скучные риффы и безэмоциональные вокалы. И на это находятся деньги и это издается с завидным упорством.

Хорошо, что послушал, прежде чем прочитал местные рецензии. Альбом понравился в отличие от несколько скучноватого "Moribund". Вокал замечательный.

От альбома исходит нечестивый перегруз и тупорылая драммашинка. Особо талантливо "железо" записано в третьей вещи. Надеюсь они так и останутся в своей глубокой... уютной нише.

Не могу объяснить всеобщее помешательство и обожание этой песчано-скрипучей дрисни с неумной драм-машинкой. Звук плоский без намека на атмосферу Walknut на раз уделывает любой своей песней все творчество сабжа. Тем более Ulver. Да достаточно включить два первых альбома Satyricon, как видна будет вся несостоятельность американских товарищей. В костер!

Отличный альбом, который с каждым прослушиванием все больше раскрывает себя. Замечательный баланс вокалов. И клавишник Ларсен наконец-то поет менее однообразно. Единственная группа где слово progressive не вызывает у меня позывы к рвоте. Любимый альбом до сих пор Frost, но это был другой Enslaved. RIITIIR не скучен и обязателен для расслушивания.
