С первого прослушивания альбом звучит так, как будто я знаю его уже всю жизнь, все мелодии кажутся знакомыми. Для других жанров такое можно было бы назвать вторым сортом или плагиатом, но в данном случае такого материала критически мало, так что у этих ребят очень классно получилось продолжить дело вышеупомянутых Mustan Kuun Lapset. Смело ставлю 8/10 и всем советую послушать этот крутой альбом (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile3.gif)

These guys have nothing in common :D And I have to disagree with you V1nterch on what you said about the band not being too original. The bands that come closest in sounding somewhat alike are maybe Moonsorrow, Nokturnal Mortum and Thyrfing. I for one think that this band is pretty original, in its own way.

The sound is very similar to Mustan Kuun Lapset 2007 album. Vorna is like a continuation of it with folk additions. And u got me wrong, these 2 bands are very original, cause they are only 2 in that style imho. And i hear nothing similar to Thyrfing.

This is pretty solid. Agree with the Catamenia comparisions. Alot like the Chaosborn/Winternight Tragedies/Location Cold era. Don't really think they sound a whole lot like Mustan Kuun Lapset, aside from the Finnish lyrics (this band is much more melodic & more blackish... and like 10 times better (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile4.gif) ).

Also, I like how the folk influences aren't overdone; such as all the "bouncy"/cheery/Humpa stuff from bands like Finntroll and Korpiklaani. Overall, I'd would personally describe their sound as alot like Catamenia's mid-period stuff, with a touch of Equilibrium added in. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile1.gif)
