Купил альбом в год выхода. Один из первых русских Death Metal альбомов в моей коллекции. По музлу сейчас я бы назвал это Retro Sovok Brutal Death, типа модная стилизация под СС периода прихода Фишера с опозданием на честных десять лет, с попыткой разбавить стафом на манер Suffocation / Pyrexia. Я думаю, что музыканты перечисленных топовых групп могут гордиться учениками, а вот я на правах слушателя вряд ли могу оценить самостоятельность данного почившего, легендарного ВИА.

Mortem это своего рода советская Death Metal группа Ария, которая научилась слизывать чужие песни целыми альбомам, а своих идей тотальный минимум. При этом и записано мясисто, и инструментальная часть изредка радует финтами, облогу намалевали дай боже каждому. Но всё "не то" от и до. Не знаю почему, как по мне - весь этот материал высосан из пальца. Не покидает чувство фарса. Вроде толковые музыканты были к тому времени, имя заслуженное на нашенской сцене, но не искрит. Старые альбомы люблю за юношеский максимализм и душевность, а здесь чувствуется надуманность.

Получается, что альбом на полке пролежал у меня честных 13 лет. Ни тогда не зацепил, ни прямо сейчас в стерео системе не вызывает бурных восторгов . Слишком много крутых западных групп появилось в коллекции и в жанре, чтобы вестись на подобное.

Оставлю для коллекции. Из патриотических чувств ставлю 4/5. Но с точки зрения высоких стандартов Brutal Death Metal это в лучшем случае тройбан.
