Всегда обожал эту группу - тем более, что члены The Everdawn гитарист Никлас Свенссон и супер-драммер Оскар Карлссон играли в легендарной Gates Of Ishtar. Эвердауновский же полноформатник Poems - Burn The Past (1997) в своё время был заежжен мною до дыр. Вот и на этом недоступном для меня ранее раритете - ТОТ САМЫЙ звук, ТОТ САМЫЙ драйв, ТА САМАЯ знаменитая шведская мелодичность! Можно только сожалеть, что такая офигенная банда - на мой взгляд, сама соль всего шведского МДМ - так рано распалась. Композиции The Everdawn и Flightborn просто великолепны - в них есть всё то, за что мы любим именно шведский мелодик-дэт - драйв, цепляющая мелодика, характерный "шведский" звук. Талантливо, наконец. То же можно сказать и о двух оставшихся композициях, но вот, правда, я не совсем понял, почему парни не обыграли более широко классный мелодичный риф в начале The Silent Winter Sky. И, если уж честно, вокал у них никогда мне по-настоящему не нравился. Звук, кстати, тоже можно было бы сделать помощнее. Во всём остальном - блестяще, вагон идей и талант, видный невооружённым глазом! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile1.gif) Всем, кому нравятся Gates Of Ishtar и The Duskfall - слушать обязательно! 9/10

ну почему, почему они распались?! можно сколько угодно играть вместе в The Moaning, Helltrain или Scheitan, но там они не сделали ничего даже близко похожего на вот эти полтора альбома, выпущенные под названием The Everdawn! один из самых лучших шведских МДМ-актов, пробирающий до печёнок даже сквозь тихую и глуховатую запись.... такого больше не делают.
