Послушайте, да ведь это здорово! Плотный атмосферно-блэковый каркас (иногда съезжающий из лесного мрачняка в зловещее веселье, будто на опушке начинают свой хоровод маленькие, но очень мерзкие тварюжки из тёмных нор), который украшен переливами флейты и фортепиано с синтезаторным фоном. Вроде рецепт прост, а сделано всё с умом: звучит здорово. Канадское осмысление культового Isengard с горстью своих идей. Зачёт.

Во франко-канадской чернухе я всегда уверен, да и уж тем более в релизах Чу. Не могу сказать, что это что-то фантастическое, например как у Forteresse, но группа точно заслуживает внимания, в первую очередь за грамотную гармонию фолка и достаточно мощных гитарных запилов. Хорошее начало.

Хороший альбом. Конечно, это не Falkenbach (коим Хиверна местами очень хочет казаться). Прослушивание не вызвало резкого желания метнуться до лабаза за фирменным диском. Но, тем не менее, это - лучше 99% того, что может предложить нам сегодняшняя викинг/паган/heathen-сцена: гармоничное сочетание свистельно-дудельных вариаций на темы североевпропейского фольклора с мощным и напористым металом. Нет тут ни столь любимых нынешними паган-миталистами чрезмерных и пресных айлюлистых разлюлей, ни ежеминутных хоровых распевов с непременными криками "ОДИИИИИИН! ХЕЕЕЕЛЬ! ИГДРАССИИИИИЛЬ! ГИНУНГАГААААП!" - и это радует. Не так нордично, как Nydvind, не так зло как Einherjer, не так эпично как Falkenbach, но однозначно интересно и самобытно - что уже результат.
