На мой субъективный слух и взгляд молодая и очень способная команда из Финляндии. Это их дебютный релиз, который они выпустили собственными силами и предоставили нам для бесплатного прослушивания. Правда в низком "битрейте". EP очень достойный. Немножко может показаться монотонным но это только начало. Думаю, главные успехи у ребят впереди.

Мне, кстати, финский фолк на металлическом костяке в своём подавляющем большинстве тоже кажется жутким говном. Turiasas, Moonsorrow, выборочный Finntroll — то непререкаемые шедевры, а остальное — ну, оно так. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/1488.gif) В исключение ещё одно запишу лишь полюбившихся мне Haive.

А, да, Ensiferum... А тут я читерну и скажу, что фолком его не считаю.

А почему я должен любить то, что любят все? В Ensiferum и Turisas для меня нет ничего, Finntroll просто не входит в число фаворитов (но что-то против имею только альбома 2007 года - реально очень скучно), а Korpiklaani с их подходом хороши лишь однажды... Moonsorrow же непререкаемы, да. Все прочие названия даже не желают откладываться в памяти.

Technician же тут, по всей видимости, и правда ни при чём. У нас с ним очень разные взгляды на музыку, но его мне хотя бы понятны. В отличие от любви к финнам, хехе.

jormundgander, shut up, bastard! If you haven't listen to Kroda, first album of Kamaedzitca, Likholesie (which is not metal but far better than crap like Poropetra), go and fuck yourself! The only great finnish band is Turisas which isn't a big deal wondering scale vastness on metal map. You are talking of superior quality but what the quality is? Simple power-chords and stupid gammas, played as fast as your multiple Laihos and Warmans can? It's a sport, not a music. And the other thing is that dumb musicianship — fucking totally overwhelming problem on the national level. Any finnish metal boy is distalanted wallbanger. Take your pink glasses off: finnish metal is shit.

jormundgander, Wintersun is shit too. I hate Jari Mäenpää, he's nerd. Well, I'd be so kind and face other three bands that I really love: Yearning, Farmakon and The Wicked. Arithmetic is simple: with Turisas you can count schedule of four branches. Four bands among ~1600! — it's unbelievable!

Вот например, спрошу так, почему просто не сказать, что Wintersun вам не нравится? Почему так агрессивно высказываться? Не потому ли, что эта великолепная группа и ее музыка нравится очень многим любителям тяжелой музыки?

Wintersun конечно великая банда, с единственным пока но неповторимым альбомом.

Кстати, один из основателей группы Joni Snoro сказал мне пару дней назад, что он пишет новый материал и группа готовит полнометражник и это мол будет нечто. Очень жду!
