мне одному показалось, что в отличие от оформления, материал до безобразия уныл? 1-2 трека в актив, остальное как клей,. Расстеряли былую злость, просто хор пьяных пастухов. Не напрягаясь, чисто наотъ*бись делали.

Круть-круть. Ребята давно заматерели, а теперь проявляют признаки высокого вкуса в тотальной бесовщине выделывая отличные мелодичные и хитовые кренделя. Из релизов старичков-культовиков один из самых.

Альбом хорош от и до и гораздо интереснее набора первых ранних, совсем уж прямолинейных релизов. Музыкальная глыба с очень своеобразной атмосферой, густая вязкая копоть, непроглядная тьма и адище. Альбом не то чтобы не цепляет, он и не должен. Он давит, перемалывает и переламывает. Очень низкий и плотный саунд, перегруженный бас, очень "живые" барабаны, гитары с почти дэтовым, достаточно размашистым риффингом и острыми мелодиями. Не очень по вкусу, разве что пришлись хоровые песнопения, но без не было бы той оккультной атмосферы. Произведение целостное, явных "хитов" нет и быть, опять же не должно, хотя на тотальный воршип я бы для себя отметил Kiss of Our Dark Mother. В общем, 5- /5.

Так же маленькая "издательская" ремарка. Издание от Agonia выходило в двух вариантах, обычный диск и черный, что весьма колоритно для данного издания. Впрочем, лично я являюсь счастливым обладателем обычного издания. Роскошный 6 полосный диджипак с 24 страничным буклетом из плотной бумаги. Издание, которое вот прям доведено до ума полностью, приятно и в руках держать, и слушать. Отличное пополнение скромной коллекции.

На этом альбоме Behexen продолжили движение в сторону более мистического звучания, более оккультного что ли. Многие стали отрекаться от группы из-за этого, даже ещё после выхода предшественника, что напрасно. Я и сам поначалу недооценивал обновлённый облик группы, но потом проникся атмосферой. И на сабже мне больше всего нравится "Circle Me..." с тамошней особенно хорошо выраженной ритуальностью и трагичностью.
