Мартир красавцы, держат марку (IMG:style_emoticons/default/pray.gif) Если говорить о сегодняшнем состоянии технодетовой сцены ( с примесью прогрессива ), то я для себя выделил жирным Quo Vadis ( которые кстати относительно недавно расжились новым треком ), Martyr, Neuraxis, Augury и пожалуй Anata. А коль брать сцену в целом, то Death ( рука не поднимается поставить кого то рядом ), идеально сбалансированная музыка, не побоюсь этого слова лучшего ( можно конечно долго спорить на эту тему, но всё равно каждый останется при своём мнении ) гитариста самоучки в метале Шульдинера.

Hi there, folks. I think it's time we added out top tens for the passed 2010 to see how it looked like in terms of technical death metal. So here is mine:

1. Atheist "Jupiter" (I have no words here; neither any of you, I believe. The masters did it again, plain and simple. Technical death metal beauty at its most brilliant.)
2. Sadist "Season in Silence" (bordering on the progressive, but still containing enough puzzling rhythm sections to make it stand as one of the best metal albums of 2010)
3. An Infinite Dream Sequence "The Series of Reveries Subsides" (this is pure delight: a surreal dreamy take on the style, not far from the previous year's beheaded Zombies "Stastie dlia Vseh". There's not much speed here, just breathtaking landscapes of some of the greatest technical riffs around)
4. Embryonic Devourment "Vivid Interpretations of the Void" (from the more brutal Necrophagist-esque approach of the debut, this act have evolved into one of the most accomplished technical death metal machines on the scene nowadays; fast sections intertwine with mind-blowing complex structures with melody and technicality seamlessly blended; genius)
5. Stigmatized "Whispers of the Dead" (another band to follow on the steps of the mighty Death; a more thrashy version of later-period Death with throaty John Tardy-like vocals; for fans of Death this is a must-have)
6. Decrepit Birth "Polarity" (you know what to expect from those guys; only more melodic and more technical this time, but brilliant nonetheless)
7. Domination Through Impurity 'Masochist" (a great follow-up to the guys' smashing debut)
8. Demiurg "Signed by Evil" (a very convincing mix of technical riffs and elaborate progressive structures)
9. Qutin "Rationalism" (from the Middle-East (Iran, in this case) comes a great band to give us a compelling mixture of technical and progressive death metal; this is not aggressive, mostly mid-tempo music rich in atmosphere)
10. Killharmonic "Human Race Disgrace" (these Indonesian "monsters" are back after a long break with a much more technical sound compared to their first two brutal straight-forward efforts; this is still pretty fast hectic music with loads of time and tempo changes)

Other albums which would also be worth your attention from 2010:

Neuromist "Move of Thought" (this is more of a progressive death metal affair, but is really worth checking out; peaceful stuff as a whole, but quite complex and though-out)
Soreption "Deteriorations of the Mind" (fast intense music with Necrophagist a close soundalike; very good dynamic complex riffs aplenty)
Flesh Consumed "Ecliptic Dimensions of Sufering" (no comments here)
Banisher "Slaughterhouse" (excellent tight technical music mostly in up-tempo close to Decapitated, maybe less adventurous)

У Dim Mak нет такого альбома The Sounds of Carnage, но зато есть песня, а альбом называется The Emergence Of Reptilian Altars (ну ты ведь по-любому весь релиз заценил, а не только одну песню выделил? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/crazy.gif) )

Сам список отличный. Выделены очень удачные коллективы. Почти всё я прослушал уже, кроме 5 миников и пары альбомов. Понравилось тоже всё, и это всё лежит в папке на перепрослушку (и, вероятно, неоднократную), именно поэтому до сих пор не готов написать ни один отзыв в темах по данным релизам (ужасно ленюсь и откладываю).
