If you’re into the more experimental or highly technical side of Metal, Hybrid has you covered. Angst travels through aggressive, chaos fueled worlds, and even offers you random glimmers of hope with the random Jazz passages that appear during Death Metal and Grindcore beatdown they put you through. While this is a clearly digital and bass heavy release, it still could have benefitted from a somewhat deeper tuning on the guitars as well. But, with a mixture of insane technicality to fluid brutality, Angst is an album that was well worth the near five year wait. 9/10.

первые 4 трека достаточно модерновые, не чистый конечно маткор, диссонирующие риффы, легкий хаос, есть элементы дэткора, в остальном тех-прог-дэт класса Flourishing или Baring Teeth, и возможно Ulcerate. вокал при этом всем не модерновый. 5-й трек инструментальный и с него и до конца альбома уже идет нечто такое эстетское-концептуальное-прогрессивное ближе к авангардному дэту, в последнем треке вроде египетские мотивы присутствуют.

Отличнейшая работа! Ребята продолжили линию предшественника: прогрессивным фишкам уделено ещё большее пространство, сам материал стал более вязким и трансцендентным что-ли, появился слащавый чистый вокал, какой сейчас шибко в почёте у прог-дэтстеров, благо его не столь много, чтобы подпортить мне впечатление о данном альбоме. С нетерпением жду новой работы от ребят!
