Прослушал весь альбом. Первое впечатление - на превью самая лучшая песня, к тому же и полностью соответствующая заявленному здесь стилю (и еще парочка соответсвует, но не больше). Остальное все при желании можно прикрыть тэгом "прогрессив" (и не такое прятали). Главная проблема, как по мне, - не вторичность (хотя, например, частенько гитара звучит один в один как у Ингви - именно звук!), а какая-то разношерстность композиций. "Разноплановость" применить не могу, потому что не хватает целостности для моего восприятия. О качестве исполнения речи нет, люди-то опытные и высочайшего уровня. А вот супергруппы не получилось. Похоже, не было у них четкого понимания, зачем они это делают. И кавер еще тоже... Ну, хорошая песня, хорошо сделана и сама по себе претензий не вызывает. Но уместна здесь, как внезапный дополнительный кусок жареного мяса к зефирному торту.
P.S. Как ни странно, общее впечатление не могу назвать плохим. И, как минимум, один хит точно есть(IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile1.gif)

Идите все в попу, вот что я вам хочу сказать! Альбом МЕГАОКУИТЕЛЕН! Это тот самый неоклассик, который я так обожаю. Качевейший монолит кррасивейших гитарных мелодий, смешанных с великолепнейшим, сильным вокалом тов. Веста. Материал НАСКВОЗЬ пропитан Мальмстиным, Кончерто Мун, Катсу Охта, Арк Сторм - то есть тем, что уже стало культом неоклассики.

Ничего не знаю про Мальмстина. Мне альбом напомнил о великолепных работах Уэста в составе Artension. Лично мне это по кайфу! Как будто продолжение спустя много лет.
