Альбом не прошёл испытания временем: осенью 2013-го сразу после выхода послушал его несколько раз и тогда он мне понравился. Через 5 лет решил освежить впечатления - и сейчас мне альбом не заходит ни под каким соусом. Это какой-то поц-блэк / блэк-н-ролл с призраками рока и психоделии, но песни напрочь лишены тяжести и энергетики (а те, что не лишены - как Walker Upon The Wind - до ужаса банальны), при этом не приобрели красоты и мелодичности, ходы и аранжировки уж очень минималистичны, а там, где не минималистичны - просто скучноваты. Феникс отличная песня, но она совсем не спасает положения. Всё-таки Satyricon - не та группа, которой стоит окончательно прощаться с мраком, и последний, не в пример более интересный альбом, это показал.
