its OK, I mean its not a BAD Death Metal Album, quite good in places, but as a Deicide fan it needs a lot of spins to get into it, and even then its not their best stuff.


Some pretty cool solos, some crunchy riffs, but I don't know its not quite what I expected, I remember Deicide as been fast......

They have slowed down quite a bit and the signing gets on your nerves after a while he sounds the fucking same in everything album.

Not my fav Deicide, you know its has artwork for a cover (as in a drawing not a photo), something Benton himself said he would never do, so you know they are going commercial to some extent and it shows in the way its all slowed down so much.... (Can't remember if they have used artwork before thou)

even the song titles are fucking lame very toned down, almost goth ffs!

Anyway it will get a few spins on my deck, its only really fucking bad if you're an old school Deicide fan n you expected more from them some 25+ years into their career... you new types should be ok.

Fleshdoll is way, way, waaayyyyyyyy better.

I did say i was not sure about the covers, i was making the point that Glen Benton will say/do anything that promotes himself and his school kid phoney satanism, so it makes sense they would release an album like this.

A COMMERCIAL album which is,what it is; A commercial album, not as bad as Morbid Angel's recent effort, but commercial never the less.

As for the artwork, he did say that; Deicide will not use artwork cause he was sick and fucking tired of all the other bands doing it. I think it was in Terrorrizer magazine when they released their first album. A little over 23 years ago, do you have any idea how many (IMG:http://www.sherv.net/cm/emo/smoke/hookah.gif) I've smoked since then?

as for been a troll, I just got off your mother, that make me a troll?

Would you like me to list all the shitty 2013 albums that are better then Deicide's current effort, will that make a mega troll?

Неожиданно мне почти понравилось (IMG:style_emoticons/default/5.gif) Нормальный альбом, мощнее предшественника, напористый хотя конечно монотонный.
Завтра ещё послушаю, но похоже это самое достойное что они выпустили после Стенч...(2006)

Главное с что хочется сказать сразу: это всё-таки Deicide - музыка кипящей ярости, вырывающейся прямо из Царства Рогатого. Атмосфера свойственная группе соблюдено всецело.

По части трэшевого звука гитар: довольно странные притензии к музыкантам играющим флодский классик-дэт - кой из трэша по факту и вышел. Причём здесь звук несколько по-жирней чем на предшественнике.

Бентон и Ашейм видимо хотели немного поэкпериментировать: записывая альбом они похоже решили (может и показалось, твердо не утверждаю) немного позаигрывать с юс-вэйэм, пихнув в альбом пару-тройку брейкдаунов. Собственно кашу маслом не испортишь, но по сути эти замедления можно было бы и более филигранно внести в общее полотно - дабы они не выделялись так угловато на фоне многоминутных реактивных моментов. В остальном вступительная тройка из In the Minds of Evil, Thou Begone и Godkill практически бесподобна и изобилует классными запоминающимися переходами и многократнми виртуозно выполнеными сменами ритмического рисунка.
Дальнейшие серединная четверка почти полностью представляет из себя типично десайдовскую бласт-битовую колотушку, возглавляемую гитарными тремоло-мелодиями, жужжащими в одном интервале. Вместе всё это слушается/выглядит довольно убойно, но по одиночке звучит монотонно.

Trample The Cross вообще не понравилась - нагромоздили целый ящик реально вымученных риффов и считают это композицией... не, конечно культ-профи они, но... ошиблись всё-таки дядьки тут...

Fallen To Silence и Kill The Light Of Christ не вызвали бурю эмоций - есть хуковые моменты и нечеловеский драйв, но полнейшие самоповторы и как итог: участь крепкого середнякого баласта.

С End Еhe Wrath Of God как закрывашкой, не прогадали - достойно "забивает последний гвоздь в распятие". Правда что же это мне напомнило?!... А! ЁМАЁ! Вылитый Morbid Angel периода "Blessed Are The Sick" - все по Азагготу: рванные риффы с педальными подыгрышами и паранойдальными соло.

Кстати в плане соло, полностью поддерживаю общее мнение. Лидер-гитара высекает замечательные шреды, наполняя красками тенистую гитарно-ударную смурь.

Вокал: на уровне. А что тут ещё сказать, Бентон всегда славился своим угрюмым утробным рыком и сейчас навык не потерял.

Я бы 4/5 поставил - всё-таки видно, что группа не просто пережидала в студии очередную волну похмелья, а пыталась что нинаесть выложится насколько это возможно. Ну а насколько это получилось - время покажет - пройдут годы, Детсад выпустит ещё десяток пластинок и на сабжевый альбом мы будем смотреть уже под другим углом и другими глазами. Нормальный альбом.
Плотнее и монументальнее что ли более тягуче-плавнее, чем некоторые предыдущие.
Характерная манера Бентона узнаваема.
