QUOTE Recorded at Gamle Slakterhuset, 5th July, 1991. Contrary to popular knowledge, Immortal has released only one demo, and it's untitled. This demo is also often called "Suffocate", "Suffocate the Masses". The first source of confusion is the cover. The name of Dead's drawing is "The Northern Upir's Death". Even that drawing is commonly misnamed, mistaken by "The Northern Upins Death". An Upir is a type of vampire from Slavic folklore. The artwork of this demo was also re-used when the cassette promos for the Immortal EP were released. So the name of the demo is "Untitled" or "s/t" . It can be called "Suffocate" or "Suffocate the Masses". In any case, it isn't called Call Of The Wintermoon [demo].I have this for long time but if we're going to post it with one song missing (Outro 00:36) you might as well call it a bootleg, not a demo. It is incomplete. check this http://www.metal-archives.com/albums/Immor...Immortal/119061 and http://www.discogs.com/Immortal-Immortal/release/4921785 I'm still looking for outro of this, btw |

I list this "[Promo 1991]" aka "Suffocate" in my database. b) I disagree concerning "incomplete" - because I´m sure this is the complete Demo, having the following Tracklist: 01. Suffocate the Masses 03:57Long time ago I used to have an imcomplete version, whereas track 3 was lasting 03:36, so the outro was missing. I soon got antoher version, with playlength 04:18 on the third track. By hearing it, you´ll agree that this is some kind of Outro (I´d call it "Upir´s Death", hehe). So with 04:18 it seems we have the full demo verson up here (without having heard it). M-A seems to be wrong on that. They listed it as 3-Track demo for a while (which is true, imo), but then added the outro track, but failed to change the playlength of track 3 consequently. |

@RunningWild_AT You're right ! I still have the old version in my collection with incomplete third track (03:36) so I thought this is the same thing. I'll try to fix this and add it as a normal release now. Thanks for the info!
