This band should really make more music. It's been almost 4 full years since this amazing album came out, and I really want to hear more of this. It's such a unique band with special sound and atmosphere. And the vocals, too, are one of a kind - it's hard to even notice it's a female singer - weird vocals but so good and so fitting to the music.
I've listened to some psych/occult doom bands but I've never really heard a band that I would compare to Occultation, is there any band that has sound similar to this?

That's usually correct and true, and I usually prefer bands that don't have a large discography. But in case of Occultation - it would be interesting to simply hear more from them, even if it's mediocre or worse than this album. Especially considering their 2012 album Three & Seven was also very good.

I just really hope they won't end up becoming one of those bands that created one or two amazing releases, then split up and disappeared. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/6.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/fear.gif)
