Если первой композиции (Victims Of Ignorance) ещё внимаешь с недоверием - мол, да, очень неплохо, но впоследствии другие научились делать лучше, - то уже вторая (Moments In The Infinite) снимает все вопросы относительно состоятельности группы. Причём, датчане доказывают легко и убедительно, что они самые настоящие таланты, ибо Moments In The Infinite - очень эффектный дэт/дум с разбросанными по всей композиции островками красивых акустических проигрышей, да и соло (0:25-0:50) на редкость удачно вписывается в рифовые кружева этой чудесной вещи! Но окончательно сносит крышу третья композиция Lacrymose Progeny - очень грамотно и с фантазией сделанный дэт/дум, завораживающий и цепляющий. Сказать, что я удивлён качеством материала данной ипишки - ничего не сказать. Бомба. 19 минут великолепнейшей музыки! Всего проект Caustic выпустил две демки и одну ипишку - вот эту, после чего распался. Чертовски жаль, очень большая команда могла получиться. 9.5/10
P.S. Обнаружил на метал-архивах забавный эпизод: в составе Caustic указан гитарист Рольф Хансен, впоследствии игравший в составе Illdisposed. Когда же я посмотрел страницу Illdisposed, то увидел, что этот самый Рольф Хансен фигурирует в списке... драммеров! То есть, получается, что в Caustic Хансен играл на гитаре, а в Illdisposed на барабанах! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile1.gif)
